Keep Your Hands in the Air When You’re on a Rollercoaster
Trisha Kennedy has never liked roller coasters. She doesn’t like to feel out of control and is more of a kiddie ride type of person. But here she is, gasping for air while lunging side to side to the left and right, going up and down. A life-changing series of events launched her on the roller coaster ride of her life when her husband contracted COVID.
In the early months of the pandemic, she was faced with the frightening and imminent possibility of losing her husband to the disease. Through grief, fear, worry and despair she found a renewed trust in God that changed her life.
This book chronicles how God worked through their lives over a year’s time during a medical crisis. It is a story about having faith and about God’s grace, providence, and sovereignty.

About the author
Trisha Kennedy was born in the panhandle of Texas. She had a challenging childhood but had parents and grandparents who laid a strong faith foundation for her. They also taught her, by example, that all people are important and special in God’s eyes. That is how Trisha first came to have a passion for treating everyone with regard, no matter the circumstances or the background. She desires to help each person she encounters see themselves as valued and become the best they can be. After 32 years of serving the Lord together, Trisha's husband, Jody, contracted COVID. The medical team held little to no hope that he would survive. But Christ had a plan to demonstrate His sovereign power to the world through our story of miracle after miracle.
