Leanne,
Lindsay's friend from church here! Just wanted to tell you that I'm so excited nursing school is going so well for you. I thought about you on your bone marrow reciept anniversary and just wanted to let you know that we are praising God with you that your healthy days are multiplying. You and Jesus make an amazing team! We'll keep following you and praying no matter what. We take length between your entries to mean that you're busy, busy with your life and can't slow down, and that's a GOOD THING! Much love!

I have prayed for you almost every day since my son told me that he was going to be a bone marrow donor. I walk about 4 miles each day and the spot where I turn around on the trail had a sunflower plant that bloomed all last summer. That is where my thoughts drifted to you, wherever you were. I didn't know until tonight that you and Josh have been in touch with each other. I didn't have a name when I prayed for you, but now I have a name and a face as well. You are a beautiful young lady and I will keep you in my prayers. When Josh shared the first letter that he received from your sister, I cried so hard that I could not finish it the first time that I read it. Everyone in our family has hoped that Josh's marrow would be a success for you. God Bless You and your family and may you feel relief from the headaches and be free of the pain.

Leanne, the Lord lead me here after several months of putting you on my heart. The funny thing is, I had to "dig up" your website address from my memory because last I wrote, you were living and enjoying life cancer free. I even had to look back at your old guestbook entries to see the last time I wrote and it was in 2005--WAAAAY too long. But, know that you were in my thoughts and prayers FAR more often than that. And I did stop by occasionally during 2006 just to see if there was an update. Anyways, I was surely surprised when I read to catch up and saw that you'd relapsed a year ago. I'm so sorry and I am going to go back and read to catch up what I missed. I stopped really checking for updates just because I felt at peace that I could keep you in my prayers without needing to stop in so often. Now that I know you're on this road again with a whole new set of challenges, rest assured that I will be here continually now to read and update my prayer requests according to your current, specific needs. While I HATE that you have to go through it, I praise God for "reconnecting" His children in their times of distress and I consider it a privilege to get back on the battlefield for you in WAR mode as you beat cancer again. Take care and be blessed. I'll catch up as quickly as I can and sign in again soon. Love in Christ.

Wow! One year ago, I was waiting on Malachi to have a spinal tap and "ran" into your family. I know God is working because in your beautiful smile I will always think of Malachi! You are a true believer in what you say. You can see Chirst's Light shining in you, your example and the way you live. That Hope in Chirst is bigger and better than in any doctor!!! The true Healer! We consider all we have been through pure JOY! Though we do not get to hold Malachi, we know he is in heaven. We cannot wait to join him and the Creator some day! Until then we will pray for you, we will pray for others to find Chirst, and we will pray for healing of all those souls!!!

Leanne~ I haven't written in a long time, but I check your site every week or so. I'm so glad you are back in school. I will pray that you stay germ free. Your last update was such an inspiration to me, to always to remember to keep the main thing, (Christ), the MAIN THING. Thanks for your courage, and hope you give to others. We love you in Florida!

I am SO EXCITED to hear you are back at AGGIELAND! I know you are loving being back with friends. Guess you know I, too, am an Aggie (Class of 79 - yikes!!!) That's where I met Kyle's Dad, David! Such awesome memories!
Hey, do you know Ben Stuart with Breakaway Ministries??? If not, you gotta meet him! If you do know him, you know why I am telling you "you gotta meet him"! Did you know he did Ashley and Kyle's wedding ceremony. So awesome! I know Ben would love meeting you, hearing your story, and praying for you, and getting you involved in the ministry on campus.
Well, didn't mean to write a novel, but...... I DID!!!
Blessing to you sweet girl.
Praying God will continue to grow you up IN HIM. Continue your healing process. And, keep you strong, healthy and wise as you continue your studies.
Gig Em!
