Well that dreaded day has come. On Sunday the 23rd, mom passed and left all her worldly pain behind. We all miss her greatly. She knew you all loved her deeply. I know she really enjoyed all the visits, as I heard about them all every time I got home. We will try to keep you all updated on how the family is getting by, but I know with all of the support and love from our friends we will survive.
Thank you all.

Hello,
Went to visit with Vi this morning. She is having a real hard time with the pain. Gone back to having to have help getting up and it is very hard on her. Doctor is coming sometime today to check on her and to see what more they could do for the pain. Vi is really trying to keep her spirits up and we should let her know we are thinking of her if you can in anyway she would love that.

Finally, we have some pictures posted. All the pictures were taken at the benefit, which by the way was very sucessful and will help tremendously with Mom's expences. But more importantly it showed Mom how this community really loves and cares for her. I for one was in awe at the the turn out and dont know how to begin to show my thanks to all the people who made it happen.
The last thirty days have taken toll on mom. The hair has left and some has come back (with a strawberry red tint). The last days have been hard. Mom's pains have been getting stronger. Hospice is currently trying to comfort mom with increased dosages of her meds.
Its great to see more visitors looking in on moms webpage. The pics will be updated soon. Remember to say hello and sign the guestbook. We'll be sure to let mom know you were here. Thank you.

The benefit on Wednesday went much better then anyone expected. There was about three hundred people during the event. It was great to see how much people love Vi. She was able to stay until about 7:30 and got see many of her friends. That night realy did her wounders. It was great for the entire family to see her spirits lifted so high. Thanks for visiting and please come back often.

Vi got out of Fargo today. She is now at Cheryl's and in great spirits. She is so happy to be home with family (as crazy as it may be). She has regained some movement in the left arm and foot. If you didn't know, for a while there she could not move her left arm or leg. The left side of her mouth also drooped. It had the look of a stroke. The radiation is over for now. She told me today that she may have five more treatments in the future, but who knows. She is really appreciative of the benifit. Please spread the word of this site to all who know and love Vi. Also sign the guest book as I will be printing it out and sharing your comments with her.

Well, mom is doing as well as can be expected. She moved today into Mannorcare. It will be a very short visit here. She will be going home to Cheryl's after her radiation treatments are finished. I know she can't wait! We are all counting down the days. The entire family is enjoying these days with her and looking forward to spending Christmas together. It sounds like the plans for the bennefit are realy coming together nicely. Hope to see you all there on Wed. 12-15 at the VFW.
