PRAISE GOD FOR STABLE TUMORS!!! We just got stable MRI results the day before Thanksgiving! WOO-HOO!! Damian and Amanda, I tried to e-mail this to you privately but I'm in bed with a sinus infection so I'm on my laptop and can't access my e-mail. Our children have soooooo much in common. My daughter, Kaitlyn, also has a Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma. I am currently reading your journal history from beginning to end. I am on March 17th, 2003 where Payton is desperately trying to drink Luke's juice and he finally told her "Listen, If you want to go to the hospital and get surgery on your brain, then you can have my drink with medicine.". Oh my gosh, I think I'm gonna die laughing. I read it about 20 minutes ago and am still cracking up. I am going to go back to finish reading your journal history. I'm eager to get to the part that says if Luke had a gold weight put in his eyelid or not, if he has a shunt and if you guys have looked into facial reanimation surgery. God Bless you all!! Luke you could not be any sweeter!!! Stay strong!

Go Luke! Go Luke! I am so excited to hear about your medical reports! You are the strongest little man I know! I will continue to pray for your tumor to remain stable, although I am praying for a complete healing for you.

Happy (belated) Thanksgiving! I hope you ate lots of great food yesterday! You are definitely a blessing from God. Don't you forget that!

Sincerely,

Damian and Amanda: If I'm not mistaken, I believe it is getting close to the time for your return to St. Judes. My prayer is that it will be an outright Glorious trip with God before you, with blessing after blessing. You are in our prayers.

Hey Lukie,
Happy Be-lated Birthday!!!!!! You know me, my brain is on top of the refrigerator most of the time. I hope it was great. First grade huh? I could embarrass you and say I still remember you in diapers, but I won't. Schuyler hasn't even started school!!! What a crazy system here. She'll start on Aug. 25. A Friday, what's up with that?
Hey I have a secret... Miz Bizaleth can still do cartwheels. Not that she should mind you; but she can (and did). I was trying to teach Schuyler. Remember when I taught Payton. Well I'm still cool. I even have a punk hair-do. Yep. Spikey.
We miss you guys and hope we can see you soon. Don't worry your mom too much acting like a boy. Okay?
Love,
Miz bizaleth and family

Dear Luke,
Awesome news bud!!!!! We are so thankful. God is good!!!!
I know the eye drops are a drag; I have dry cornears too and the doctor keeps bugging me to use my drops. So it's like eating breakfast, I just get into a routine of it. Schuyler's eyes are bugging her from allergies and she squeals when I try to put in her drops. I told her this morning how brave you are and how often you had to do it and she wants to be brave like you. But I have to tickle her first to get those drops in there. She was saying how much she missed you and wanted to go home. I said this was home now and she said she wanted to go "home, home". I'm right there with her. I miss all you guys too.
In His grip,
Miz Bizaleth

Hi Luke (and family :) of course)-
Its been a long while since I have seen you all or stopped by here, but I just wanted to let you know that I think of you often and smile when I do. Valentine's Day is very special to me now, and that's because of God's special Valentine's Day gift to YOU 3 years ago! I am so glad to have read the last few updates and know that you are doing so well! Love and prayers, Kara

I'm so glad to hear an update about Luke! I still come and check on your boy. For some reason your Luke makes my smile a little bit bigger. Maybe it's because he is proof that God hears and answers our prayers. Maybe it's because he was and still is a fighter. Who knows what it is because...I just know that he makes my world a better place. He makes the whole world a better place. God bless you Luke. I will continue for your health and for your trip to St. Jude later on this spring. I look forward to reading another update soon.

Hey Lukey,
Valentines Day has new meaning for the Biles family. It's all about love, but love for our friends and our gracious God who on that day guided the surgeons hands and kept your mother sane. We love you and miss you. I hate Schuyler couldn't be in your class this year. 700 miles is a bit of a commute. Hope to see you at the end of March. Give Payton and Mom and Dad our love. love, miz bizaleth
