You touched so many me being one of them. Your sweet smile, your caring eyes, and your loving heart. I was only on your life for a short time but you are forever in mine. I couldn't bare to see you so sick and I'm so sorry I wasn't there. Not a day goes by I don't think of you. I now have a daughter of my own and I have given her your name. She has a picture of you in her room and she knows you are her angel sweetheart. I just wanted you to know that I loved you so!

I just wanted to write a quick comment to say how proud of Eric I am. He is such a great father! He is very professional in his career and seems to care about satisfying his clients, even down to the smallest of details. I must confess, that is simply amazing considering what Eric has on his shoulders. Eric's walk, and your's, Christine, is a lamp unto my feet. Olivia's situation is a beacon shining to all. She continues her activities despite the incredible difficulties. This is an example that we should all follow. It beckons us to let go of the trivial and hold tightly to that which is most dear. This which should be so self evident, often escapes us. Our precious time that we have together should be cherished while it can be. God bless you and your family!!

Hi,my name is Sherry Drumm, I just read your story for the first time. I was so moved on how much has been done to benefit Olivia and the foundation. I have a daughter that is 5yrs old and she was diagnosed with CACH (type of Leukodystrophy) at age 15mths. She too was a very happy little girl, walking, talking etc. She now has lost most of her control over her motor skills and feeds through a feeding tube. I recently had an article printed in a local newspaper about her and myself wanting to start some type of fundraiser to bring more awareness about her condition. I would love to speak to you about how some of Olivia's fundraisers. I'm sure you are very busy, I too am a mother of three children, but if you could I would be so grateful. I will be thinking about Olivia and praying for her. My daughter's name is Alexis and we call her Lexi. Talk to you soon, I hope.

I just wanted to let you know that we know what you are going through. Our little girl, Eliza, was diagnosed with late-infantile MLD in September 2007. It is truly a devastating disease and very difficult to watch as a parent.
Despite all of the losses, we are so grateful to have Eliza in our lives...as I am sure you are to have Olivia. They are truly amazing spirits. We learn so much from her and the other children who live with this challenge.

I had the pleasure of flying with a friend of yours last weekend, Lisa Wolford; I am also a flight attendant for USAirways for 3 years now. We got acquainted and I told her about my granddaughter who was diagnosed with MPS-III, type A,Sanfillipo Syndrome; another horrific fatal genetic disorder. Her name is Kasandra Offenbacker and also has a website here on caring bridge. I read about little Olivia and she is so beautiful. I cannot understand why these wonderful children are afflicted with these conditions, my heart is just broken over my Kasandra, Kassibelle, as we call her. I will add your Olivia to my prayers as well. My daughter-in-law updates Kassi's website almost weekly also and there are lots of pictures of her and her baby brother. Hey christine and eric. It's Stephanie and Alex remember us . We shared a room with Olivia at PCH. Just wanted to let you know of some bad news Brandon passed away 8/05/07. We took him in just for a fever and never came out. We found out he had a very rare possible genetic disorder called HLH. He was very tired of all the seizures he had and the needle poking. I think it was time for him to rest. His services were today and it was beautiful. We love him very much and it was so hard to see him go. Just thought I ought to let you guys know. Glad to hear olivia is doing well. Hope to hear from you soon.

It's been way to long! We escaped the summer heat for about a month- & are know getting used to this Arizona humidity???? What happened to dry heat, anyways? New great meds---hope rocks! I remember JOhn's mom was really out of it when she was weaning off one and on to another, it'll be worth it though. So so so glad for you all. Lovin' the pictures and so glad at least the "one who was awoke when you left" got to see and swim in Lake Michigan. Also so glad that pool is there for you all to splash around in during that intense summer. I love picturing Olivia floating in that water and enjoying it's many gifts. I will also wish for your imagination to turn you into Ariel. Not sure if Carter or Will is the bossy Lobster(never sure 'bout which is which):), but keep an eye on them both just to be sure!
Enjoy your mermaid time and remember to make your Mom eat- she LOVES it when she is nagged---so keep doing at it 'til she eats. :) No Carter, Will-- hair is not REALLY something to eat! (I know 'livie they are silly aren't they?---I had wet strands the whole visit :))
Remember:if Mom ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!(be selfish for a whopping 20 minutes a day--at least chickie) love you all mucho mucho much.
