Well, our flock certainly is getting interesting. We got Dasani, the Blue Headed Pionus just a few weeks ago, and now we've added our fifth (and final) member. I felt bad for Dasani, because he is smaller than our amazon, macaw, and Congo African Grey....so we got him a pal! Meet Mokuba, aka "Moki." (Mokuba is Kaiba's younger brother on YuGiOh) Moki has such a brilliant yellow! He is a Jenday and absolutely adores Dasani. He has pretty blue and purple tail feathers, too. They wanted you to know they're thinking about you at Christmas.

Scottsbluff, NE USA - Sunday, December 7, 2003 1:39 PM CST
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;
And mamma in her kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winters nap,
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer,
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky;
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound,
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
and his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
and the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly.
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
and I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
and filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
and laying his finger aside of his nose,
and giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
and away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night.

This little cutie just dazzled me when I visited the bird nursery..so we've added a FIFTH bird to our flock! I couldn't believe the sizzling blue coming through..and he's only TWO MONTHS old! He's a boy (they did a DNA blood test) and he wobbled onto my finger and said, "Dah bop?" My heart went "pit pat" and the rest is history. I was lucky, because these guys aren't that common. This breeder has only had one other one...five years ago!
We are known for our unusual and original bird names. Well, this little guy is a BLUE HEADED PIONUS. So, meet DASANI. You know, like the BLUE bottled water by Pepsi? And guess what his nickname is? SONIC, (derived from the "sani") another BLUE item, ie, the Sega blue mascot? (think video games) How perfect!
Dasani will have a hot blue/purple head, it's awesome! But what you'd love the most is their smell. They have a fruity smell! Dasani smells like a cherry-orange mix! Well, we just wanted to share our baby news with you. Dasani will be in the nursery for another month or so. Bye for now, more bird pics coming soon.

The Other Web
Just watch that spider on the wall,
She doesn't have to cook at all.
The food flies to her web, you see.
Just like pizza delivery.
Envy the spider? Don't be hasty,
Sometimes those flies are not so tasty.
A spider lays a thousand eggs.
It takes an hour to wash her legs.
Think of the worry in her head-
Her children hanging by a thread.
The web is hard to weave and clean.
Caught bumble bees are really mean!
For spiders, things can get real hairy,
Financially it's pretty scary.
Wouldn't you get the "Visa Blues,"
When each kid needs four pairs of shoes?

One More Boo
Again it's time for pumpkin faces,
Flying witches, scary places,
Ghosts and goblins howl at you!!
Halloween is dé jŕ BOO!!!
The Candy King
There was a king who loved Halloween
He waited each year for this scary scene.
He sneaked out to hang on his door
Black bats and witches and spooks galore.
The midnight hour was his favorite time
With monsters covering snakes with slime.
As twelve o'clock chimed through the stars
He opened up his snickers bars.

Hi Isabella and family! Instead of posting my birds' pictures, this time I thought we'd go wild. This is one of 300 pictures I took. Did you know Indochinese tigers LOVE to swim? They do. We watched these two for about an hour at the Houston Zoo. They have a huge area to lounge around in, and a wide "river" to swim in. The Houston Zoo is known for its natural habitats...some are so good, you can't see the animals. We never did spot the leopards (no pun intended.) which were hidden up in their rocky area.
Here's some fact about these tigers for you! They are found in mainly in Thailand, but also Cambodia, China, Malaysia, Myanmar, Jamaica, Virgin Islands (U.S.)
They like forest but also hills and mountainous areas. Their stripes are narrower than the Bengal tiger..but folks OFTEN get these guys mixed up! And guess how much they weigh when they are born? TWO ounces! The mom usually has 2-4 babies and by a year and a half old, they are skilled enough hunters to say, "See ya later!"
Click on the picture to go to the Houston Zoo page ..I've linked you the page where you can click on any of the mammals and see great pictures and facts. (I spent about an hour surfing the page myself! You can also go to birds, fish, reptile pages, etc.) Enjoy!

My yellow nape amazon, Tripoli, thought you'd like a picture of a bird in your guestbook. She is a show off! Did you know she she sings Yankee Doodle, Saints Come Marching In, and Old Mac Donald Had A Farm? She also says 150 different things, such as (wolf whistle) "Wow! You're a ten!" Other things are "You're my baby," and "I love you" and "Whatcha doing?" and "I want outside!" She also tells me, "I want food." She also does MY laugh then says, "You're funny!" The last time I corrected her singing, she told me, "There ya go!" like SHE was teaching ME!
We are working on "Uh oh. I taste like chicken." Aren't I mean? Hee hee hee. Total, I have four birds. Tripoli, Pompeii (a severe macaw) Callao (a Half Moon Conure) and Mirage (a Congo African grey) They keep me busy! We're all thinking about you Isabella! (and hope you can lower your steroid doses real soon.) We loved your photo album, particularly with your hair pony tailed up!
(BTW, If anyone who owns birds would like to join our Feathers 'n Smiles group, just click on the picture. We sign guestbooks of these wonderful kids and tell them briefly about our birds. )(You don't have to do pictures.)

Hi Steve, Ceyonne, Bella and William,
What a sweet picture. Glad to hear you got a chance to go out and get some fun. Long overdue I am sure. We have been checking your page to see how Bella is doing. Her new picture reminds of my sister's daughter, Hope when she was on steroids for kidney problems. Watch out for strangers, they love to pinch their sweet cheeks. We continue to think of you all and keep sweet Bella in our prayers. Hugs from Nebraska.

Hello Isabella:
The pictures of you and your little brother are so precious.
We all love it when your grandma brings pictures of you to work.
She sure keeps us updated on how you are doing. You are such a strong little girl.
A couple weeks ago my family and I watched videos. You came to my baby shower
for my daughter Emily. You were rolling all over the floor and eating strawberries.
You sure are a cutie. We think of you often and pray that the Lord will keep
you well. Lots of Love, Natalie, John, and Emily Kriz

I came acros this poem, so beautiful...
Poem in October
It was my thirtieth year to heaven
Woke to my hearing from harbour and neighbour wood
And the mussel pooled and the heron
Priested shore
The morning beckon
With water praying and call of seagull and rook
And the knock of sailing boats on the net webbed wall
Myself to set foot
That second
In the still sleeping town and set forth.
My birthday began with the water-
Birds and the birds of the winged trees flying my name
Above the farms and the white horses
And I rose
In rainy autumn
And walked abroad in a shower of all my days.
High tide and the heron dived when I took the road
Over the border
And the gates
Of the town closed as the town awoke.
A springful of larks in a rolling
Cloud and the roadside bushes brimming with whistling
Blackbirds and the sun of October
Summery
On the hill's shoulder,
Here were fond climates and sweet singers suddenly
Come in the morning where I wandered and listened
To the rain wringing
Wind blow cold
In the wood faraway under me.
Pale rain over the dwindling harbour
And over the sea wet church the size of a snail
With its horns through mist and the castle
Brown as owls
But all the gardens
Of spring and summer were blooming in the tall tales
Beyond the border and under the lark full cloud
There I could marvel
My birthday
Away but the weather turned around.
It turned away from the blithe country
And down the other air and the blue altered sky
Streamed again a wonder of summer
With apples
Pears and red currants
And I saw in the turning so clearly a child's
Forgotten morning when he walked with his mother
Through the parables of sun light
And the legends of the green chapels
And the twice told fields of infancy
That his tears burned my cheeks and his heart moved in mine.
These were the woods the river and sea
Where a boy
In the listening
Summertime of the dead whispered the truth of his joy
To the trees and the stones and the fish in the tide.
And the mystery
Sang alive
Still in the water and singingbirds.
And there could I marvel my birthday
Away but the weather turned around. And the true
Joy of the long dead child sang burning
In the sun.
It was my thirtieth
Year to heaven stood there then in the summer noon
Though the town below lay leaved with October blood.
O may my heart's truth
Still be sung
On this high hill in a year's turning.

I had a few min and thought I would say...I MISS YOU ALL!!!
When are you getting the new photos back?
November seems a long time away, so I hope I can hold out until then.
We had a great time in Deadwood. Ceyonne, your Dad picked out a racoon hat for Steve, but I said "No" it was not something you would want Steve to run around town in...EEK!
How is the table hunting coming?
Oh Ya, how are the beens and cucumbers...do you have any yet?
Have you heard about Rachel's purse?
I am writing these all down because I forget what I want to say...you know me.
Katia is asking for post cards from all the people that visit her website...so I need to find one as nice as California, which might be hard for Hemingford...Alliance has Carhinge, Scottsbluff has the Bluffs, but Hemingford Hmmm....Any Ideas? STOP LAUGHING!!!!

Hi Steve, Ceyonne, Bella and little William,
Sounds like a busy house..I know how that goes. Sorry to hear the kidneys not doing there job so well. I don't know if you remember when my older sister's (Rhonda) little girl had problems with her kidneys. They were rejecting her little body when she was 2. She was on prednisone, a chemo drug and a few others I don't remember. She was really swollen, hairy and had gotten the lump on her back neck. She was the sweetest and cutest 2 year old. She is now 10....never had dialasis or a transplant, thankfully, and is now doing great. A lot of people cared and prayed for her as we all will Bella. We hope her kidney's turn around and start doing their job. And as far as the changing of the clothes....that never stops. Beau isn't a girl, but he does it too. I think they do it to keep us mommies extra busy. We think of you all often....Hugs from Nebraska!

Hi,
My daughter Whitney had the same problems and was on the same meds as your daughter. Is she still on Cyclosporin or FK506? That definately aggravated Whitney's kidney's. She was on all the same meds for almost two and a half years. Today she is five years out and has great BP with no meds, and her kidneys work well enough not to cause her problems. I hope that she will continue to improve, not get the bad BP headaches, and that her kidneys will heal.

Beautiful Bella,
We are sending extra prayers for your kidneys and blood pressure. Are you mixing the bp medicine with anything for Bella to take? After we were in BMT the pharmacist told the nurses that Jacob's bp medicine probably wasn't very effective because we were mixing it with syrup to take. We miss seeing Bella's face out her window next to BMT or in the clinic, but we are sure glad that the kids are not in the hospital, so we just have to miss each other. Jacob is doing wonderful. It is so nice to see him play and laugh, just simple things that some people take for granted.
By the way, HAPPY BELATED REBIRTH DAY BELLA!!!!!!!

DEAREST ISABELLA,
ONE YEAR AGO TODAY, YOU WERE GIVEN A SECOND GIFT OF LIFE, FROM A BABY AND GIVING PARENTS WHOM WE DO NOT KNOW THEIR NAMES, THIS GIFT WAS YOUR CORD BLOOD. ON THIS DAY EVERYONE, SPECIALLY YOUR MOMMA AND PAPA, WAS ALSO GIVEN A GIFT, A VERY SPECIAL, A GIFT CALLED HOPE. THIS GIFT STRENGTHENED YOUR BODY AND OUR FAITH. GOD KNOWS THE RHYTHEM OF OUR SPIRIT AND KNOWS OUR HAERTS THOUGHTS. HE IS AS CLOSE AS BREATHING.
SO TODAY BELLE, WE CELEBRATE A VERY SPECIAL DAY, ONE THAT IS NOT HEARD OF VERY OFTEN, AND WILL BE ETCHED IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER. THANK YOU GOD!!!

Sweet Bella,
Glad to hear you are doing well. Wow - what a big girl you are!! You should be very proud of being potty trained - way to go. Don't be surprised if mommy gets a big smile on her face when she passes by the diaper aisle. When my twin daughters became potty trained - I had a smile from ear to ear at the check out stand!!!! You will love it here in California - there is so much to do and you are not far away from sun, snow, mountains, etc. And if its fog you like - stop in San Francisco - it gets very foggy by the coast. I'll be checking back.

I have been checking on Bella from time to time to see how her Kidney's are doing. I think that I have told you before about my daughter, Emily, who developed Kidney problems after her BMT. Emily's kidney failure was stableized with the help of BP Meds. Her Dr's were at a loss as to why it happend but a Kidney Biopsy confirmed that the filters in her kidneys were dieing off. I still pray everyday that she will be able to avoid a transplant in the future. Please let me know what your Dr's have to say about it, I am always looking for more information.

I have been checking to see if there is any news about the kidney's, My daughter developed Kidney problems about a year out of her BMT. The Dr's are still at a loss as to what caused it and how to correct it. They were able to stablize her function at around 20% function and she has to take BP Meds twice a day. They are calling it HUS like syndrome I am anxious to know if your Drs. have any good ideas about it.

Hello from Nebraska. Checking in to see if there is a new baby yet. Sounds like everone of these kids is getting a terrible cold. Gage's is going on 1 1/2 weeks, but besides that, he is doing great. He loves school and all his classmates sent him cards last week. Hemingford must definitely have some good parents because there are many sweet kids. We hope Bella continues to get better. Hi Ceyonne, Steve, and Isabella:
I am happy that Isabella is receiving good news about 100% donor. A lot of the medical terminology you use I don't understand, but I do get the jist of what is going on. I understand that Isabella is getting for the most part good reports! It still sounds like she requires a lot of medication and "doctoring". As with our daughter, Kelsey, she also requires a lot of medical attention. It is draining; but you love them so much, that we as parents will do whatever it takes to keep them well!
Good luck on the new baby, can't wait to see some pictures.
Take care Ceyonne!!

Guess What...We are getting snow! It has snowed now for two days off and on. Our last snow was sometime in (I think) early Nov and that was not all that much. We needed the moisture. We are trying to raise awareness and bring more love, prayers and support to more kids' sites, so you will be getting messages here from someone who "Adopted" you and your site. (unless you dont want to..) We dont know each other well, but my son has leukemia and I know the support & prayers from others mean a lot. I was touched by your story and how much you have been through, its so unfair. Please know we will be joining so many others who are thinking of you and praying for you.

Ceyonee,Steve, and Bella,
What a precious creation you are Bella. Oh how your mom and dad must delight in you. I hope you are experiencing more happiness than you can contain now at Disney. My prayer for you and your mom and dad is that the Lord would grant you peace in every circumstance as you cry out to Him when in distress and He will hear from heaven and fill your hearts with joy and peace. I am also praying that the Lord will bring back into order every cell in Bella's body and restore her health completely.

Beautiful Bella,
Hi sweetheart! We met Belle and Cinderella at Disney in October, and it was a dream come true. My son, Caleb, has ALL and Disney was his Wish Trip. You are a princess, did you know that? I bet your Mommy and Daddy tell you that all the time! I pray for great results on your tests. We are thinking of you and your family.

My name is Sara Edwards. I found your daughter's site from Gooch's site. My daughter has Non-Hodgkins, she is 12. We live in Tampa and have for 7 years. Before my daughter's diagnosis, we were supposed to make a move to Denver. My husband had taken the job, was getting settled and along came the diagnosis. I refused to leave Tampa and he has been commuting since. I feel like we are at a point now where a move can happen, I am just terrified to leave her Dr. here. When I read your site, you spoke highly of Denver Children's and I was wondering if you could offer any advise or encouragement about their oncology department. My husband started looking for a home downtow(he works in LoDo), but Evergreen has appeal as well. Any advice on housing or hospital, I would truly appreciate. I am feeling completely paralyzed to leave in fear of relapse for Molly. Enjoy Disney! We visit Disney in Orlando, there is so much fun and memories to had!! Take care of yourselves.

C and Steve,
I just read the latest (crappy) news. I don't have a clue what to say that would make any sense in your situation, except maybe that you have the choice to live in two different houses right now - despair or hope. Might as well choose hope - you'll see me and Jack there if that's where you go. We'll be sending out some extra-strength happy thoughts this weekend. I'll try to call you later - if I don't get ahold of you, please call anytime you want or need to.
Send a giant mmmmmm-uh (OW!) to Bella for us...

I've come to be acquainted with the Cohens. They are such inspiring, wonderful people. I will say extra prayers for your little Bella. I've checked in at your site many times but this is the first time I've left you a message.
Our son and his family live at Alta Loma. I just got home from CA last Thurs. Our little grandson, Cody, has some genetic inconsistancies that showed up in his blood last October. We watch his health very closely as he could be prone to Leukemia. We can't possibly know the extent of the emotional, mental and physical roller coaster ride the families of the sick kids go thru but please know that we realize it is wrenching and painful for their loved ones. I pray for the little warriors every day !!!! May God strengthen you and hold you in the palm of HIS hand. God's blessings to you and Bella.

I just sat and read a great deal of your history. Our daughter Katia (she will be 3 this month) was diagnosed with AML April 15, 2002. She finished chemo September 11, 2002. Since none of us match her for a bone marrow (her dad, myself and her 2 older sisters) we pray she stays in remission. She has done reasonably well other than infections but has been home from the hospital since November 15, 2002. We have only gone to the clinic for checkups. I wanted to ask you about bruising. Katia has a lot of bruises (you can see them on her webpage) but her platelet counts are fine. The bruises never go away, just fade and then come back. She is AML M5 with the inversion 16 chromosome. I will pray for your little Isabella (I was trying to find out how old Isabella was). Love, Tracy Solomon

To Isabella and parents,
I know it's hard trying to cope with her ailments through this ordeal. Just keep on loving her thoughout all the bites and slaps she might put upon you. It's just her way of showing her affections. God want put nothing on you all that you can't bear. Just sometimes the devil want to work his evil upon all of us. But know that we are praying for isabella and all the rest of the children sicken with the illness. And she is an adorable little girl and "Congratulations" on the baby to be.. I got this webpage from Jacob Deal's page. And I want to send out good well wishes to Isabella too.. They're all god's angels... Will keep in touch with Isabella... GOD BLESS

Ceyonne, Bella and Family: I got an e-mail from your grandma on my daughter's website and wanted to check in on you. Bella, my daughter Meghan is also 2 and had her bone marrow transplant Nov. 26th. We are Day +35 today and still no counts. Meghan is doing pretty well considering she has had no counts for over a month. We've had our ups and downs, but she is hanging tough. It's so comforting for a parent to read happy stories such as yours. Hopefully soon I will be able to report good counts and good biopsy results with 100% donor cells as well. Hi Bella and Family,
I am glad you updated, we have been thinking about you and wondering how California was treating you. I forgot to tell you a story when Jacob had his last scans. I was talking to the young man who set up the propofol(I don't know how to spell it) and we were talking about all the little kids that get put under. He was telling me how some of the kids really enjoy it because it makes them feel good. He told me about one little girl who even called it her milky. I immediately thought of Bella. I remember milky and something about the moon hat. We don't see much of the hospital anymore as Jacob is doing so well. We only have to go to clinic once a month! Yeah! Jacob has his scans in January and will probably have his broviac removed also. We will be glad to be done with all of it. Jacob is now walking and eating much better. He still needs some work on his speech but is a happy little boy. He has tantrums too but I think it is all about being two. Hope you have a great Christmas.

What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited...
It cannot cripple Love
It cannot shatler Hope
It cannot corrode Faith
It cannot destroy Peace
It cannot kill Friendship
It cannot supress Memories
It cannot silence Courage
It cannot invade the Soul
It cannot steal eternal Life
It cannot conquer the Spirit.

Hi Ledesma family, Just checking in to see how things are going. Glad to hear you are almost done with chemo. Someone in Hemingford told me you guys had been there and I said no, they moved to California. Checking your web page, not sure what they were talking about. Glad to hear Bella is starting to adjust to California. Kids, especially kids that have been through so much already do have a hard time adjusting to change although usually better than us adults. Gage is doing great in school. He is going to Hemingford and loves his teachers and his class. He is getting bigger everyday. We hope everything goes well with this round of chemo and hope that everything goes well enough for her to go Broviac free. I know that is scary because we hate for them to get poked. You are in our thoughts and our prayers. We hope you enjoy your thanksgiving.

Hi Bella...
What a precious name you have and you are a little cutie to!
My name is Sheryl and I am a Chemo Angel from Minnesota... Your Grandma Chris signed one of my little friends Abby Ortiz's guestbook, so I thought I would stop by and say HI!
That was very nice of her to do that... Abby.. (well she is 7 now, so she wants to be Abigail) is a very special little friend of mine....
I hope things are going well with you ... Do you have your Christmas list all made out for Santa? It won't be to long and Christmas will be here....
I'll check back soon ok....
Keep that precious smile on your face...

I am glad to hear that Bella is home and doing well. That is good news on the cancer free and 100% donor cells! Jacob is doing better every day, however, I think he has become a terrible two. He is constantly testing us to see what he can get away with. It is hard and frustrating for him since he is still not talking very well. His legs are getting stronger and hopefully will be walking soon. We miss seeing Bella. We will be in clinic tomorrow and start testing the week of the 8th (bone scan, cat scan, MIBG, etc.
Hope to see you soon.

We were thinking about you celebrating your 2nd birthday on Monday, but we didn't get a gift or a card sent. Let me know what you are needing to play with, so I can try to find something you would like to have. We had a "Bunch" of company this weekend, so it was a fast & furious time. It was fun, but a lot of people around, so everything took a long time to get done -- like cooking meals or getting everyone ready to go to bed!!! Keep up the good work, Isabella! We are praying for you to be able to go home & spend some time there - really soon. We are so grateful for the progress you have made so far & praise God for this blessing.. Stay strong, Mommy & Daddy, & keep on a keepin' on!! We plan to go to Denver to see the grand daughters perform in their dance recitals & a couple of the grandsons play some ball. You're a brave little girl whose prayers for continued healing are daily lifted up to God's throne of grace... also all the needs of your Mommy and Daddy's family, who care for and love you. You're greatly loved and are a very special little girl...remember, Jesus loves you always and forever!

We check your website every day I am glad you updated. Hang in there it does get easier. Jacob is smiling now and starting to talk. Once in a while he even eats a little. Tell your Mom and Dad to let us know if you need anything. Jacob isn't using his roller coaster much so if you want to use it let us know.

We just can't imagine what you "guys" are going through. I wish that I could be of some help to you. We are thinking about you all so very often & praying for some relief for Isabella,as well as you parents. We were in Tulsa, OK for an anniversary celebration last night. Tonight we are in Mesa, AZ getting ready to have our furniture & other stuff put into storage until our new place can be finished up. It would sure be great if this time next year you could all come to AZ & enjoy our pool, the "Heat", & relax for a while. We will continue to check on you through this "site" & let us know if we can do anything to help out. We will be returning to CO on Friday, May 24th, so stay in touch. Glad some of the grandparents & other relatives have been doing a little distracting, as well as physical support. Dear Bella, Steve, and Ceyonne,
God does hear and answer prayers. There are now many more people praying, simply by sharing the request for this beautiful child. There is a song that says "God can make a way, when there seems to be no way. He works in ways we cannot see, He will make a way for me. He will be my guide, hold me closely to His side. With love and strength for each new day, He will make a way." Those words have comforted me many times, and I believe them with all my heart. I will be praying for beautiful Bella, and believing in God's healing for her.

We'll be praying for Bella's recovery as well as for comfort and strength for all of you. I don't understand God's plan in all of this, but I know that He has one, and He'll be faithful to you and will always see you through anything! I'll be forwarding this to our family and friends who will get the prayers going for Bella- she's such a beautiful girl!

Hi Bella, Steve and Ceyonne:
The latest photos are just wonderful and thanks for sending
plenty so I can put one up at work and show everyone our beautiful Bella. I hope you were able to connect with Lesley and Jim Daley (from the support group)who were so encouraging. They gave us hope that Bella will survive this and we will have you all here soon in Oxnard. Be sure to prepare Bella that Grandma Diane is going to hug and kiss her to bits when I come in two weeks.
Love, Grandma Diane <raydiane@interlogics.net>

Isabella and her entire family are brave. Looking into the dark, seeing what may happen and going on with life in the face of it all is the highest act of courage. I know what you are enduring. I survived my own cancer but I lost both my brother (age 23) and my sister (age 45) to it. (Can you believe 3 siblings each having cancer?) I have lost my religion, but I am thinking hard for you and little Isabella's health. (I am the aunt of Jim Daley and Lesley Daley, who met Isabella's grandparents at the doctor's office.)

Bella, Steve and Ceyonne. I found this poem while I was thinking what to write to you three today it just seamed to say what I was thinking. I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard I felt the answers in my heart Although He spoke no word. I didn't ask for wealth or fame I knew you wouldn't mind I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind. I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day To grant you health and blessings AND Friends to share you way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small But it was for His loving care I prayed for most of all. Love Lyle and Teri Dugan

HI!!!!We are alive and well out here in Michigan.. More importantaly in our prayers. Our church as well is believing God for complete restoration and healing of this presious little girl. God tells us in his word, By His strips we were healed. Having the faith to believe this with all of your heart and soul is imparitive. The Word says, We walk by faith not by sight. Not allowing ourselves to be moved away from the Word which promises healing to all.
