Hi, I'm a first time signer of your guestbook but have been checking in on your cute little boys for a while. The bottle problem reminded me of how I got my daughter, Casey, to finally give her's up at two years old. My aunt has cows and one day she told Casey that the baby cow was really hungry and needed it. So Casey gave it to the calf (my aunt retrieved the bottle while she wasn't looking to prevent the calf from choking on it). And then everytime she asked for her bottle we told her that the baby cow still needed it. It was also a good sharing lesson.

Yes, our little rock star is still shining!! On Monday the entire family was at 'Kinder Music' at their church when they got to see Carson pull himself to a standing position in the middle of the room!!! It didn't last long but I think I heard the cheering up here in Arkansas. More and more he wants to walk holding your hand or behind one of his push toys. We're banking on Feb 3rd, the boys 3rd birthday, that he will take his first steps unassisted! They are also working on teaching him to chew. That is something I do VERY WELL and enjoy too much. I'll get with Carson's Mom about not keeping Carson's public informed. I really don't understand why the mother of twin 3 year olds doesn't have time to keep you informed. She only works 3 days a week. Just ask Chris. lol!!!!!! Really, every minute of every day is a mircle. One of the greatest lessons Carson has taught us is we should enjoy and be thankful for ALL that the Lord as given us.

YEA!! Ginger & Carson. The Walk Saturday was GREAT!!! I am so proud of you, Ginger. You exceeded all your goals. Your talk about Carson's journey and St Jude was so touching. You started from the back of the pack and finished first with no one else in sight!! Look out Memphis, she will be running in the Marathon in December. And you also exceeded your goal of collecting $1000 for St. Jude. Daddy and I were so glad to be there supporting you and Carson and St. Jude. Carson you are following a very good example that your Mom is setting. Last year the doctors could not tell us if you would ever be able to hold your head up or sit up and today you are not only sitting up by yourself you are pulling up and standing. My son, Landon, has gone to Melanie Massey for PT, OT, and Speech since he was a baby. You would never know the need by looking at him now at age 6. I had the pleasure of talking to Chris today at a meeting where I was discussing my nephew, Matthew, who is at St. Judes with an ependymoma brain tumor. He said he had a St. Jude's child and then I realized I was talking to Carson's dad! I have been keeping up with y'all through the website for a very long time so it was really neat to meet Chris. I am so thrilled that Carson is doing well now. That is a big encouragement to me for Matthew. Its a very small world, isn't it? When we got home from Memphis in Sept., we took Jill out and about at first but with her immune system still being low, she caught every little bug and it lasted longer than her sister's bugs did. So we decided NOT to take her in public from Oct. to Dec. That seemed to do the trick. Her immune system built back up and now she's doing great. It just takes time. I was so sick of being stuck indoors.

I also referred a mom (Matthew's mom) to your site, as they are from Monroe and have a new diagnosis of medulloblastoma and are understandably scared to death. Carson's story should provide a real encouragement to them. I think when Miranda can get her little magic hands of Carson, the eating thing may improve.
