Hooray to you and your husband for not giving in and standing your ground at the hearing! If I had to guess that attorney has never been a parent to a special needs child!! She has no idea! Maybe after she walked in your shoes for a day, she would understand where all of us parents are coming from.
Sorry to hear that Sarah is having a tough time! Madigan is not feeling well either! Keep your heads up and remember, you were our strength when Madigan (our daughter) went through her surgeries. So we are here cheering you on, all the way!!

I am so proud of the strength and courage your whole family is showing through this difficult time. God is bigger than this thing, and perhaps he is waiting for just the right time to do His big miracle. Do not be afraid or terrified, for God is with you and will make everything right. Surrender all your anxiety onto Him and trust Him to do His good and perfect Will. He is faithful. We have been changed by this amazing story and it's so encouraging to see Sarah doing so well. Keep up the great work and keep your eyes on God. He is working...

Dear Vicki,
I am sorry that things are rocky right now. I hope that Sarah is NOT having seizures again. I will be praying for that. I know with Kody that communication is a problem. He has learned about 40 signs (some of them he made up but we know what he means) and that helps alot. Please email me if you want to talk. Or I can send you my phone number. Patience is something that I am not the best at but I have learned that these children do things when they are ready and not before. So Kody is teaching me the true meaning of patience. She is truly blessed.

Hey Vickie, it's your favorite cousin, Robin. I want everyone to know how special both of the girls are, and how amazing Sarah's recovery has been. I am fortunate enough to live close by, so I am able to see them on a pretty regular basis. I have a nine month old son, for those of you who don't know, and on St. Patrick's Day, we spent the day together and it was so cute to see Sarah and Caden playing together! I am amazed every time I see her at her progress. It's definitely a miracle.

Dear Vicki and family,
Praise God for the loving care He has given you and your baby Sarah. Having a child with a disability myself, I hope I can say that the journey you are on will introduce you to some of the most wonderful families who share in your experience.Jesus nevers leaves us alone to deal with difficulties by ourselves. I do not take parenting for granted anymore ( I may have if not for David's disability)and I count each developmental milestone as a blessing from God. Our children will always be, to me anyway, some of the bravest young people I will ever know. David encourages me to always try to do better for others. God Bless you and the girls!

Though the surgery may have seemed radical at first, I have read of many stories just like yours, and I know that this surgery has given these children their only chance to live. Please know that Sarah and Hannah and your family are in my prayers. My prayer for Sarah is that she will be happy and fulfilled. I would love to see more photos of Sarah and Hannah.
