Mike’s Story

Cancer is an ugly word with a scary meaning but Mike is going to kick ass because he is brave and awesome and will fight it with his super powers.  Mike will be in the hospital for an extended period and due to the severity of his treatment and his weak immune system we ask for no visitors at this time.  We are using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  Thank you for visiting.

It is with great sorrow and broken hearts that we announce our dad, Mike Borneman passed away on Saturday, November 23rd.  In true Mike fashion he did it on his terms - “Opening Day” of rifle season.  We are going to miss him tremendously but know he is in a better place hanging out with Grandpa Bug and Grandma Karen ♥️ 

We want to thank everyone who followed Mike’s journey your prayers, texts, calls and hugs near and far did not go unnoticed. We are truly blessed.
