On February 21st 2022,  Lisa was diagnosed with Stage 3A Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Triple Negative) with positive nodals.

Lisa will have 12 weekly (once a week) treatments of Carboplatin and Taxol and every 3 weeks, she will receive Keytruda for immunotherapy. After those 12 infusions, the next round will consist of 4 treatments (once every 3 weeks) of Adriamycin (known as the Red Devil) and Cyclophosphamide along with Keytruda for immunotherapy.

After chemo is completed, the doctors will determine if Lisa will need a lumpectomy or a mastectomy depending on whether or not the chemotherapy was successful. After surgery, Lisa will most likely need radiation as well. Each infusion will get harder and each cycle, she will expect to feel weaker. We are taking this journey, one day at a time.
