Today is kind of a sad day. Wilson's girlfriend Olivia left for home this morning. She's been here for a whole week and it's been great for wilson's mood and attitude. In the last couple of days, wilson has said that his brain fog has lifted just a bit. He has been so worried about his memory. If you think about it, our memories are a part of who we all are so if you can't remember your past it's hard to see your future. With the fog lifting a bit, wilson is feeling better mentally. But it definitely comes and goes. Even with mental and physical symptoms improving, the progress is very slow. Three steps forward then two steps back. Please continue to pray for healing of mind, body and spirit. Also pray that wilson won't get depressed with Olivia now gone.

Shelby has also been improving but at a slow rate. She seems to have a little more energy during the day. She enjoys spending her time resting in her bed watch the TV shows she's wants(Gilmore girls, Amer. top models, etc.). She likes to be left alone sometimes. She doesn't need a lot of attention so we just let her do what ever she wants. She is so content and confident in who she is. I am proud to be her dad. She makes us all laugh every now and then, with her dry sense of humor.

Kelly has been such a great mom. God has her here not only for our kids but to help the other patients and their caregivers. I have been a witness to how she encourages them and gives hope when their down. They know that she really cares about them personally. It has been a blessing being here this week to see how she interacts with everyone at the clinic. I feel blessed to be her husband.

I pray that we will allow God to use us here in any way He wishes. We all have been drawn closer to Him through this experience.

May God be gloried

Lee
