Tommy was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in March 2006. He then had surgery to remove it in May 2006. Now as of Feb. 2008, the cancer has come back. Tommy has a very big loving family and friends all over. He is my gift from GOD. Please keep him in your prayers.

Good morning,

Well just about all the snow has melted. And it's still cold.

Tommy's left hip was hurting bad yesterday. He used a heating pad on and off all day. He is still eating his apples and oranges and most of his dinners. He said he is trying his best to put some weight on and eat more. TJ, Karen, Brenda- I finally got him to try the drinks you all bought. He said as long as it's over a lot of ice he can drink it. Thank you.

The hospice insurance company, that pays for meds., would not refill one of Tommy's meds because it was to soon. They(RN nurse) had told me he could take it more often then it said on bottle. But did not tell the insurance company of the change. I did not find this out until right at closing time yesterday. So I'll have to get it fixed this morning as he needs it today. He has to have those meds. I keep telling and keep telling them the pain meds are not working. The fast pain meds I give around the clock, and still no help with the pain. I ask for something stronger, they keep putting me off. And tell me we need to wait and see if the new pain med will work, which we got last week. And it's not working. The fast acting pain med is what we need for break through pain, a stronger one. I have been after them for weeks on a stronger fast med and tell them every time. I think they really need hearing aids and hearts. Guess it time for me to become a super nag!!! They will have to do something, just to get me to shut up!!!!

Thank you all for your prayers. Hope you all have a great day.

Becky
