Well it has been another blessed week at the Nault house. Shane has continued in his therapies and working extremely hard. The electrical stimulation device for his arm and the other device called a Bioness have done wonders for him. His arm has been so relaxed it is unbelievable. I know that this must relieve so much pain for Shane and we are so grateful for that. Shane has been working really hard at therapy and with his therapies at home. We are slowly transitioning into having his therapies done here at the house and everything is going well so far. We are truly busy the entire day. The evenings are a welcome resting period for us. I know Amanda and Courtney feel the increase as they are included in this also. We want to thank them for all of their hard work and if Shane could thank them I know he would. We know all of this has changed their lives as much as it has changed ours and we are so grateful that they love their brother so much to want to be a part of his healing. I don't know what we would have done without all of their help. We know other families that have to hire outside help and some of them are going through sheer nightmares with that. We know that our Shane is loved every minute of his caretaking and that is what matters. On Friday we will be heading to the Chicago area to attend a marathon that is being put on as a fund raiser for the organization "Salute." This is a great organization that helps critically wounded soldiers and their families get what they need. They have helped soldiers with bills, equipment, even building a house. The gentleman who started this organization is in the military and it is very close to his heart. He and his wife are such inspirations to people and are really there for these soldiers when times seems so rough. We were honored to be asked to come to the marathon so that the people donating could see the kind of people they are helping. We are looking forward to getting out a little bit and meeting new people. I hope you all have a great upcoming week. Thank you everyone for all of your prayers and encouragement that you have given us throughout this journey. God Bless - Lori
