As September comes to an end, we would like to thank everyone for supporting Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We had so many people tell us that they bought a t-shirt. Thank You for helping raise awareness, as it means the world to us.

We attended the Riley Survivor Day on September 20th. It is held every two years, so this was our first time attending. We were amazed at what all they do for the kids. They had hot air balloon rides, a Build-A-Bear tent, a 'dunk the doctor' tank, lots of carnival games and prizes, etc. It was so neat to spend the day with so many other families who have battled cancer, and to see the smiles on the kids’ faces. It was hard, however, to see some really sick kids there, who still may not survive. I also thought of the many kids who we have met on our journey that did not make it to this celebration. Overall, it was a very special day to spend as a family.

Noah had IVIG treatment again on September 26th. Grandma Noggle went with us, while Diedre (a friend from church) watched Halle. It is so hard to keep Noah still for 6 hours of treatment, and so he often pulls his IV out. This time he did it with less than an hour left, so they decided to let us go early. However, this meant we have to go back in 3 weeks for treatment instead of 4, which is October 17th.

Noah had a decent month overall. He did scratch up Halle's face pretty bad one night when they were "playing". Poor thing. That was the only major aggression we saw this month. Dr. Lee did decide to increase the dosage of one of his medicines, in hopes that it will help his OMS, especially with cold and flu season approaching.

On October 10th, we are going to the Riley Christmas Card Party. Each year Riley chooses 6 children's artwork to be displayed on a Christmas Card. The proceeds go to benefit families at Riley. Noah's artwork (with mommy's help) was chosen. If you would like to see his card you can go to www.rileyholidaycards.com.

We hope everyone has a great week. God Bless, Eric, Amanda, Noah & Halle
