On Sept 6, 2008 Kris Tierney was 32 weeks pregnant. Suffering complications from an AVM, along with seizures, her baby was delivered prematurely at St John's. She had bleeding on the brain and was transferred to St Joe's Hosp where she was kept in a medically induced coma until she lost her battle & died on September 19, 2008.

Today is the 2 month anniversary of Kris's becoming an angel. It is still so totally unbelievable that this has happened. And that it has been 2 months. We miss her sooo much. The guys in her life are doing fine. They are adjusting but it is going to take a long time. Rick is doing a great job being a Mom and a Dad. He now has to think about all the things Kris just did. But everything seems to be fine and nothing is falling apart so he must be figuring it out. He is still planning on returning to work after Christmas.

And Ryan - he is really doing well. He loves going to school. He is taking swimming lessons and loves jumping in - over his teacher. He misses his Mom and will periodically say so. Then he has to decide who misses her more - him or Dad.

And then there's Luke. He is doing well - is gaining weight and becoming so alert. He is starting to follow things and wants to see what's going on. It's fun just to watch him. He has had some fussy days (and nights) - we've changed his formula a couple times and he is now taking Prilosec for acid reflux. He had been pretty good for the last few days, but today was another fussy day. Hopefully it was just that and tomorrow will be good. I'm a adding a couple new pictures of Ryan and Luke.

We want to say thanks for everybody's continued support and prayers. This has been an unbelievably hard time for Rick and his family. But all the support does make it easier for them to get thru their days. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
