We just came home from the Donor Dash 5K at Washington Park. Jeff ran the 3.2 miles in 25 min 50 sec! We are very proud of him. Julia, JJ, and I walked part of the course and then headed to the finish line to try to see Jeff run in. Jeff was so fast that we missed seeing him in. They had a balloon release so we released a balloon for our donor and their family, our friend Michael who passed away recently, and all the donors, recipients, and families waiting on the list. Jeff and I are thinking about having a team for Julia next year. It was a great morning. we also took the kids to the renaissance festival yesterday and they had a great time riding the rides and seeing the sights. It has been a big weekend. I think we are all going to go pass out now. Have a great day!
