I am finally starting to feel better... still tired a lot... but I think that is just due to the business of life right now! Thanks for the prayers!

Tonight was a "parent watch" night at dance. Gabby was so cute and such a good little girl. But at the same time, watching her with all the other 3, 4 and 5 year old little girls was actually painful for me. Gabby listens very well, but she just can't physically make her arms and legs do what they are doing. In addition to that, she doesn't seem to understand what they want her to do either. This is where Gabby's delays are quite evident. I have shared numerous times the amazing words she comes up with, and how she just seems to know people. But if you point to her knee and say what is that? She doesn't know. If I ask her where is the sun? She says things like "the sun is the sun." She has been 5 for six months, and still says she is four. These are the aspects of Gabby that when right next to another 5 year old, her delays are glaring.

I talked to our dance instructor friend David who has always been such a sweetie to Gabby... and told him that I honestly didn't know if by the end of the year she could master even half the things they were doing. But she LOVES going to dance! This is where that parenting dilemma comes in. So I asked if he was willing to work with her 30 minutes a week, just her, and it would give her the physical help she needs and still allow her to get dressed for dance and believe she is still in it. He is going to talk to the studio owner. I am praying this option works out, because taking her out completely I fear will only confirm for her what I believe she is starting to realize... that she is not like others.

On another sadder note, our little friend Braedon has been admitted to J5 at Children's Hospital. He must be very sick! If you are one of my very special J5 nurse friends, could you peek in on Braedon P. from Gabby and say hello? Please continue to pray for this family.

This week I am taking the girls to the pumpkin patch, it is one of our favorite things to do! It will be difficult without Daddy there, but Grandma Sherry is going to come with us. Speaking of Grandma Sherry.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!
