Good morning! I am still stubbornly refusing to give up my capris and sandals even though some days it has been 50 degrees or so....hmm...how goofy will I look with a jacket with that? I will try to not embarass all of my kids by adding socks, and white ones at that, to the ensemble....:) Rachel, the fashion princess keeps her eye on me, lol! I do not think that the boys care, although the two girlfriends might. So I have to dress up for them? :)

Ok. I joined a new group....I said no to the community club at the elementary school (been on way too many committees, although very rewarding) and no to the girl schouts (also been there, done that,, although great).....and then well....Now I do have a lot of plates spinning in the air with four kids and some might say that I am treading water on that front, but this is a good cause.

http://curechildhoodcancer.ning.com is called PAC2, People Against Childhood Cancer. It is almost 1200 people working together for childhood cancer awareness. We want to see gold ribbons like we see the pink ones, everywhere, for the kids. Curesearch is there and also Team Unite to work on those bills and funding for a cure. So I am thinking that this many people is more effective than just me.... I am going to try to keep my life in balance however and not spend too much time on the computer. I am competing with Rachel's webkinz after all...So if you want to check out the site and maybe join me. There is one other person from Nebraska that I have met and that is it, on PAC2 midwest. We are dividing into subgroups by location. IA, MO, SD, OK, ND and KS are in it, too. So far, some people have asked me about starting up Curesearch walks. Maybe some others will come to ours, I don't know.

I am still concerned about how Drew is walking. I am going to talk to the pt tonight. I hope that he is walking with his leg bent and to the side because it is tired and not gettting stuck in that position. We are due one of these days to go back to KC for leg lengthening but are waiting until he needs to. He was walking better last week. You know he just might be walking that way to scare his old mom....he is a prankster! Anyway, hope to find out something soon. We can't add anymore pt or anything else for that matter or we are going to go get really crabby with each other and I don't just mean me.... :)
