Conner's 1yr anniversary date came on Dec 14th and we are still trying to put the pieces back together. It has been 1yr, 13 days, 12hrs and 45min since that day I had to call Steven and tell him our son was gone. He was a wonderful little boy who brought great joy and love to us, his family. We now have a wonderful angel watching over us.

Hello everyone,

I am asking you to all please say some prayer for a little boy I know who was just diagnosed with cancer. He is 3 1/2 yrs old and has just started his long journey and for those of us who have been through this or are on the journey we know the effect it has on the child and family. His name is Sean.

This pass week there was a rerun on the Dr. Phil show about mom's who didn't want to be mom's any more and one of the ladies was a mom with a down syndrome child with athizum and she kept going on how terrible it was to have a child like this and all I wanted to do is scream. Her son did have a sever case but anyone who is planning on having children and heard her would not hesitate to abort the pregnancy if there was a chance of their child having this condition. It just made it sound so horrible to have one of these precious special children. I know she was over whelmed but I felt like Dr. Phil show could have done a better job of showing that these children have value and that there is hope and that you don't have to put your child in a home that they can stay with the family. I'm sorry but I would give anything to have Conner here with us and he taught us so much and gave us so much more then we gave him. Our special children are such a rare and wonderful treasure and those of us who have been lucky enough to be picked to be the families of these children could all testify to that.

So give your kids lots of hugs and kisses and your time. Don't put anything off cause you never know when your time will run out. Make lots of wonderful memories with you kids.

Love,

Gayle
