Hi Everyone,
I am off to bed shortly, but have a few prayer requests. My requests tonight are all for children who are battling cancer, or the families of those who lost their battle.
I just learned earlier today of a 14 year old, Amirul, who lost his battle with Medulloblastoma after 4 years of remission and then 5 relapses and numerous brain surgeries over the past year. He is now an angel in heaven, but oh how sad for his family, and how they are grieving. Please pray for Amirul's family and for the family of Christian's good and dear St. Jude friend Spencer, who also is an angel in heaven.
Please also pray for some children very special to us who are currently battling cancer, Buckley, Ryland, and Abby. We also pray the Khloie has not relapsed.
Please continue to pray that Christian remain cancer free, tumor free, and side effect free. Or at least that his current side effects be easily managed, and please God, no more side effects. Thank you so much God for all you have done in terms of miracles for Christian to-date! We are so very grateful to God and all of Christian's medical team, both locally, and at St. Jude.
Christian is now over 2 years off treatment and is still cancer-free. This is a big milestone. Even though he has numerous side-effects, we still feel very, very blessed. We thank God every day and then we pray for more good health for Christian. We do not live in fear. But, our eyes are wide open and we are fully aware of the horror of relapse. Again, God, we thank you so much for all you have done in our lives and we pray for continued good health for both of our kids, and our extended family and friends.
Today Christian played Minor League, Little League Baseball and Amanda ran wild in the park with friends and doggies. Right now they are both tucked in, sound asleep and look like sleeping baby angels. Each day is a miracle and gift from God!
