Trey and his new Buddy Bear which he named Trey

Welcome To Trey's webpage.(Johnny Wayne Roberts III) This page was started to keep everyone updated on 4 year old Trey's fight with cancer . He was diagnosed on Sept.29,2002 with Neuroblastoma, Stage IV. After many chemotherapy agents, stem cell transplant, surgeries, and 3F8 antibodies in New York Trey was cleared of this disease, only to relapse in January 2004. Trey then went on experimental treatments, Irinotecan, Topo/Cyclo combination, back on Irinotecan and then Fenretinide. Trey was scheduled to begin the MIBG protocol in Philadelphia until we learned his cancer had spread too far. Trey went home on hospice and we were told not to expect anymore than 2 days. Trey stayed with us 6 days before gaining his angel wings on December 22, 2004. Please visit his photo album and guestbook while you're here.

Journal

Thursday, December 20, 2007 2:23 AM CST

Sometimes I wonder why.
And I don't know why - I don't understand.

I thought I was told it would get easier in time.
It doesn't.

All I have noticed is it isn't as constant as it had been.

It isn't any easier and it doesn't hurt any less=(
