Hello everyone!

We are now residents of Port St.Lucie Florida! MaKenna just loves the weather swim suits and shorts since we have been here. Miss MaKenna had a great 5th birthday she is getting so big. She will be having her yearly Oncologist visit soon I will be sure to post the results of that...and just as soon as we are in our new home I will be sure to post new picture's. It's been a big year for her with the move in all and she also started Kindergarden that is full time here.I joined a mother's group in Port St.Lucie so that we can meet other families and kids to help us make new friends...they seem like a great bunch of ladies.

Hi everyone!

As you can see MaKenna continues to do well. This is MaKenna and daddy at a father daughter dance that our church held in January. Roger is such a proud daddy...she is his pride and joy as you can see. She has a doctors appointment on Thursday April 8th just a physical. She doesn't see the Oncologist until September if all is well at her doctor's appointment. Will keep you all updated.

Hi everyone!

MaKenna went to see her oncologist the second week in September she remains cancer free. Now she will only be seen once a year for a check up. We received her pictures back from dance class finally and I will post them this evening as well. Thank you all again for signing MaKenna's guest book she looks at it frequently.

Hello everyone!

MaKenna had her very first dance recital on June 21st. I can't wait to post the picture's and would have done so by now if I had received them from the dance studio. It takes approximately 5 weeks from the day of recital to receive them, it shouldn't be much longer now. She continue's to amaze us all with how smart she is, it's hard to believe she will be 4 years old on August 6th.

Well I just wanted to let everyone know I haven't forgotten to post her picture's I just haven't received them yet. I also want to thank everyone for all the wonderful mail Makenna has been receiving.

Hello everyone!

Not much new with MaKenna, she is getting smarter everyday. Her question of the week surprised me, she asked me why she had cancer. Why didn't mommy, daddy or kimmie have cancer. I told her that I didn't know why but that her boo boo was all gone. She seemed to be happy with that responce and no further question were asked. I wanted to let everyone know that MaKenna really looks forward to happy mail from all her friends so we would like to post her mailing address it's as follows:

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to give an update on Miss MaKenna, she went to see her Oncologist on Tuesday March 4th. All could not be better MaKenna's blood/urine test show that she remains disease free!I would have posted her results sooner but the urine test takes a week to get the results. Her Oncologist just gave me the results this afternoon. Now MaKenna wont be seen until September. I want to thank everyone for all the happy mail we are receiving in MaKenna's guest book she so looks forward to looking at them and having mom read them to her.

Hello Everyone!

I know that it has been a while since I last updated MaKenna's journal. We have been so busy with our new baby Kimberly. MaKenna makes a wonderful big sister and enjoys playing the roll.

Anyway, MaKenna went in September for an MRI and is doing extremely well and remains no evidence of disease.She will not be having anymore MRI's and will be seen in 6 month's (March) for a check up with her Oncologist. Then she will see her Oncologist in September and then once a year. I feel that we have come a long way since our daughter's original diagnosis and we are dealing with normal sibling issues instead of cancer. Life is good!!!! I will post a receint picture of MaKenna and her new sister.

Hello everyone!

MaKenna countinues to do extremely well. She went to see the Oncologist in February, she had an MRI. I am pleased to say she remains disease free! Now she will be seen
in June for a check-up, then she will be seen in October for her last MRI. Then she will be seen once a year for the rest of her life YIPEEEE!!! We made it. MaKenna can now be a normal little girl.

We also have a new addition to our family, she is comeing home from Guatemala in the next few weeks, her name is Kimberly and she is now 4 months old.

Hello everyone!
I know it's been a while since I have made an entry in our journal, been so busy with the holiday's. MaKenna continues to amaze us all. She is now 2 years 4 and months old. Her Oncologist believes that if her next MRI
in February comes back showing no evidence of disease, MaKenna should be all right. Meaning if her Neuroblastoma were going to come back it should have done so by now yipeee!!!All could not be better. She is just a normal 2 year old. Our princess and a true survivor. I thank everyone for all the prayers, and ask that you continue to keep her in your prayers. Be sure to check out MaKenna's newest picture taken with her brothers. I will update you all after MaKenna's MRI in February.

Hi everyone!

Makenna had her second check up today since she finished treatment.All went well her Oncologist is extremely pleased with Makenna's progress and said she is developing just like she should be for her age. She wont be seen now until January that's when we will know for sure how she is doing as far as the cancer goes. She will have an MRI of her pelvis. she has gained 1 lb since she has been off treatment.
(guess she is going to be small like mom)

All is well with Makenna, she visit's her oncologist once a month until January. And if all comes back clear she will be seen one every three month's.She has cut 4 teeth in the last 6 weeks and is now walking. I will try to keep Makenna's web page updated once a month. We got a late start because mom did'nt know how to create a web page. Please keep our daughter in your prayer's for continued good health and take care.
