In loving memory of Sandra L. Sheman. The war is over I created this page after chatting to a lot of people in cancer groups and chat lines, plus talking to people in person and via e-mail.
There is a lot of information on the internet about Glioblastoma (GBM) but its scattered and can be hard to find. Plus, in order to deal with this disease, you need to know a lot about the medicines the doctors prescribe, because the drugs can have more effect on you then the tumor itself.
You also need to know how to deal with care givers that cross your path in the fight to beat this. I have 27 links including the three listed below in my "favorites" list. I will gladly send them to you in a file if you contact me at the e-mail address below. You can also call me and we can discuss them.
One thing you will not find here is infomation about Microbiotics and alternative medicines. The more I research and sample them, the less I believe in them. I have tried serveral.
So here is a way to contact someone that has does a lot of research about GBM4 and its treatment plus the personal experience of having the disease. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me personally. You can go to the History button and start at the bottom to read how this all started with me. Please sign the guest book. Its a huge kick for me to read what people write in there.

Early Spring 2003 I was given so much steriods that my pancreas completly shut down. If the pancreasdoes make insulin makes insulin to reduce blood sugar I have to injuct it. I went in a blood sugar crash after getting a satly bag ofd pop corn, watchingthe matrix reloaded....drank a shit load of sweet drinks and drove my blood sugar to 1250. normal is like 200.I passed out....ER, 4 days in the hospital and it has left me as weak as a puppy. but its under sonctrol now....;.michele has been terffic measure out the ritghrt smount of carbs per meal and my blood sugar has been under 200 for 2 weeks now. If I can get it under control we can cut down the steriods....if I dont get headaches and the there is a good chance the pancreas will kick in again....we are hoping. In the mean time my 1st cousin, 55......more like my sister than my real sister died of a brain tumor the same night I went into the ER, so I had a funeral to go to....ot a good week
