It’s been more than a year since I last updated and thought it was about time. Our kids are growing quickly as you’ll see in the pictures. They are the best of friends spending all of their time together playing and fighting. Sergianni turned 5 on March 26th and Rafael turned 3 on February 8th. Sergianni has been in Pre-K since September, and her end of the year ceremony will take place on June 9th. In September she will begin kindergarten at MPH, her current school, which she adores. She’s matured so much, and her extreme shyness seems to be a thing of the past. Rafael is still at JCC and can’t wait to get there every morning. He is taking gymnastics lessons this month and also swimming lessons. Both he and Sergianni will attend JCC for summer camp in a few weeks, where they take swimming lessons each morning and have free swim in the afternoon. For them, it’s all about the water. On days they aren’t there, they can be found in our backyard in the kiddie pools, sprinklers and going down our water slide that Otis thought of. He puts the hose on their slide and they think they’re at the waterpark. In April we went to Jamaica, where they both declared they wanted to live forever. It was beautiful, and we had a blast. As always, it was sad leaving. They came home saying ’yeah mon’ to everything we asked them, and continue to talk about it daily. It's so funny to watch them re-enact it when they don't know we're watching.
We are looking forward to our summer adventures, which include our FANA picnic and golf tournament in Buffalo and our annual trip to the Jersey Shore with our family and best friends.
