Kay Lynch

Welcome to Kay's Web Page. She lost her battle with Leukemia on April 11, 2009. She fought hard for 7 years and was a true inspiration to everyone she knew and met.

On behalf of mama's entire family, I want to thank everyone that brought food, sent emails or messages via CaringBridge or Carter's site, sent flowers, attended the visitation or funeral, and offered to assist us in whatever way we need.

I feel like this week has been a blur and it is hard to believe that she has been gone for a week already. I am sure that many of you feel the same way. I know that she is in Heaven and rejoicing with those that have gone before her.

I miss her but I am at peace because I know that she is not suffering any more or trying to stay strong for all of us. I no longer have to worry that the next phone call is the one telling me she is in the hospital on life support or that she has passed away at home. She fought a good fight for 7 years and was such an inspiration. She was able to see all 4 of the children get married and she had the opportunity to enjoy her 2 grandchildren.

I thank her for raising me in church and for being such an inspiration. Her faith in God never waivered and I do not believe she ever asked 'Why me?'. She believed God was using her to bring people to God and I believe that she accomplished that. She was even preaching at her funeral. She wrote her own service and her message was clear. She doesn't want us to worry about her but she wants those that have not accepted Jesus to do so soon because she felt that we do not have long on earth before God comes back for us.

I ask that the community choir perform the musical that mama had planned for everyone. She was working hard to get the disk to everyone so that you could start practicing. She was so excited about this one.

Please continue to pray for our family and that everyone will find the peace and comfort they need. I know there are some struggling a little more with mama's passing.
