FOLLOW THE KRAMERS We welcome all of our family and friends to join us as we take our journey to Ukraine to adopt our child. I hope you enjoy following our trip that we have waited so long to take. Our appointment at the National Adoption Center is January 12, 2005.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." Proverb 3:5-6

Thursday, January 27, 2005 9:09 AM CST Sorry it took me so long to update but the last couple of day have been very draining. After the appt. on Friday we decided that it was best for us to come home. We were very glad to get the chance to have a second appt but the appt was very hard. We were shown many sick children. There were very few options and we felt that it was in our best interest to decline. It was very hard to do but we both felt stongly that it was not the right option for us. We know that we didn't come home with a child but we did come home knowing that we had done the right thing. It was definately a trip we will never forget. There were lots of hard times but we were so lucky to have met Galya and have her teach us so much about her culture. She showed us things that we would have never experienced. She also introduced us to the children at the hospital that will forever touch our heart. It was very hard to leave Galya. She is such a dear friend to us. I hope that one day we can visit her again. We wanted to thank everyone for the emails, posts, phone calls and most of all the prayers. We have never felt so much love. We could not have made this trip without all of your support. So now we are back home in Shepherdsville trying to reajust to life as we know it. We can't wait to talk to everyone. We love you all.
Love and Prayers, Michael and Kim
