Kistner Family,
I just wanted to leave a little note saying how much all of you mean to me. You might not remember me but I'm the daughter of Lisa Caldwell. I'm 16 right now and I'm beginning the fabulous start of searching for the right college and everything that accompanies it. I also wanted to say thank you. Your daughter, Bailey, changed my life. Right now, I am in a class called Youth Leadership. Our first speech is one about ourselves. Well, my speech is about me. But more importantly, my speech is about Bailey. She made a difference for so many people including me. I tell everyone that Bailey is my future. My goal in life is to help children like her. You probably remember mom telling you about the speech I did in Houston, Texas. It was about Bailey and childhood cancer. If you don't know already, I placed 3rd in that competition. And all of the glory goes to Bailey. She was an amazing person. Even though she passed away at a young age, her memory will always live. I know she is in Heaven with the angels and she fits right in because she is an angel herself. I honestly believe that you were put in my moms life so Bailey could make an impact on my life. And she did. I care about all of you so much and my prayers are with you. I hope we can keep in touch! I love you all! May God bless you and fill you with peace!

Hello - I haven't checked in for awhile, but was glad to see your update. We still think of you and of Bailey and hope that you're doing well. Dalton must be getting big by now - I know Ashley is and she's almost 9. Congratulations on the new house - I bet you can't wait to move in. Jeff and I have talked about a major addition/renovation on ours for years now, but just never have the guts to jump into it. Good for you! Good luck with the roper benefit - I hope it generates a lot of money this year. Best wishes always.

Hello Kistners! Hope you had a good Christmas and are surviving the winter. We've had a ton of snow this year (how would the cattle like that?!). We're sick of shoveling! Derek and Ashley are doing well and getting big! Derek just got back from a St. Jude checkup and his MRI is still good. He needs eye surgery, but we'll deal with that. We worry every time we see tornadoes out your way - I guess you probably get use to it, but us New Englanders aren't!! Take care and best wishes.

Derek, Crystal, Dalton & Family,
I just wanted to say that I'm thinking of you and praying for your family as the 16th approaches. It's been 4 years since Bailey joined our heavenly father and earned her angel wings. She is still thought about constantly here in our household! She holds a special place in our hearts and always will! She was the one person that touched Sarah's heart and has gave her the strength to continue her education career plans in the field of pediatric oncology. Sarah tells alot of people her story! We are blessed to know that she isn't suffering anymore and she's walking the streets of gold and holding hands with all those that she joined and all the ones that have joined her. She was such a beautiful little girl! I miss all of you and think of you constantly!!! I love you all!!!

You are in our thoughts and prayers as you relive the joy of Bailey's birth and her short but, I am sure, wonderful life within a loving family circle now temporarily broken. We pray the sweet and cherished memories of the past and the precious promises of the future are far, far brighter than the darkness of your pain.

Thinking of all of you during the Holiday Season and everyday. I know it must be very difficult for you to even think of the Holidays without sweet Bailey. Think of the Birthday party that she is celebrating with Jesus. How wonderful that must be! Please give our love to all of your family and we miss you all!!! Love you!!!

Merry Christmas! We probably wouldn't recognize Dalton - I'm sure he's growing fast! Derek loved the movie CARS and has the video game for his Gamecube. He and Dalton would probably get along great! We're thinking of you all and wishing you strength through the holidays without Bailey. Best wishes for a happy 2007.

Remembering you and Princess Bailey on the eve of her Homegoing anniversary. I am grateful that, while this heaviest of burdens will always lay upon us weighing even heavier on these days, our Lord has also given His blessed, blessed hope. May this hope comfort and encourage your hearts till we hold our beloved children in Heaven.

Hello Kistners! I hope the roping went well and everyone had a great time. I don't think we have rodeos and ropings in NH. The closest we get is the local fair and animal barn. We'd certainly attend if we were closer. It sounds like everyone is doing well and I hope school is going well for Dalton. Ashley started first grade this year also. She seems to like it. She and Derek are both playing soccer and keeping busy. And Jeff and I are busy as always. Best wishes to you all.

"And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." (Revelation 14:13) Vacation Bible School and helping other devasted families is most certainly a wonderful work that followed your precious Bailey and I pray it has touch many souls. As you celebrate the remembrance of her birth and very special life with you this side of Heaven, may our Lord bless you abundantly with His comfort and peace. We know your pain and we thank God we are able to share not only your grief but also His faithful and precious promise of eternity with Him and our beloved gone before.

In His Love,

I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad, Derek. I hope he's recovering and feeling better soon. My dad had 5-way by-pass surgery about 8 years ago and my mom had both stints and by-pass. It's tough on them intially, and they get frustrated about not being able to do everything they could before, but they're doing well - and I'm sure your dad will be soon too.

I hope the three of you are doing well and getting through the winter. It's been warmer here than usual - I'm not complaining!

Take care - we're thinking of you.

Hi there Kistner family! Not sure if you remember me or not, but I talked to you about Bailey for a class project I did last Spring. Not sure if I ever let you know or not, but when I told your families story, I had many people crying and the responses I got were tremendous. Thank you for sharing your story with me! What a great little girl :)

Crystal and Derek - hope you had a good Christmas with Dalton. I'm sure it must be very hard on all of you without Bailey, but hopefully you also were able to enjoy your day with Dalton. It sounds like he's getting to be a big boy - I'm glad he's enjoying Kindergarten. So is Ashley. The new pictures you posted are wonderful - Bailey's beautiful. We think of you often and wish you strength and happiness for 2006. Love, Mary & Jeff.

Derek & Crystal, I hope all of you had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! I think of you daily and pray that God will continue to bless you as each new day approaches. Sarah won her speech competition and has made it to the finals. She will once again compete in Houston on Jan. 30, 2006. The picture of Bailey that she used as a prop turned out beautiful. We had it enlarged to a 24 x 18. It's a poster size picture and we had it framed. The speech was awesome and by the time the 3 minutes was over everyone in the building was crying. It's awesome that so many people will hear about childhood cancer and how great St. Jude's is. We are very excited about Jan. 30 and pray that she wins the finals. It's great to know that Bailey has touched so many lifes and continues to do that. She is our special angel. Sarah hangs her picture in her room and will take it down and use it again in her speech in the finals. I'll let you know how it goes! Tell all hello for me and WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!!! I MISS YOU LOTS!!!

Dalton will probably be just fine in Kindergarten - I think it's usually harder on the mom's than it is the kids! I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the summer. I'm so bad as I have been meaning to let you know how happy we were to see you and get to visit. You all are precious to us and even though you don't hear from us often we are always checking in on you and ALWAYS in our prayers. Your sweet Mommas are precious and it was wonderful to get to visit with them as well. The blanket has adorned Emma Grace's bed in the "blankie rotation". I can't wait for her to get those blue eyes open again so she can see how wonderful it is.
Thank you again for taking time out of your weekend to spend with us. I got the chance to run over to the Pavillion on Sat morn and checked out Sweet Bailey's picture board. It was beautiful just as your precious Angel Bailey. Take care and be sure to tell The Momma's howdy for us! Love you kiddos!

Hi Guys

So good to hear from you. We are freezing here also. I got up this morning and it was -5 degree's. I have had enough of this winter. When we go to Memphis next month it will feel like summer down there. That was the only thing that I liked about Memphis two years ago, there wasn't much winter. We have had about total of 10 inches of snow this winter. Not much. We have a dusting right now.

We are going to Memphis in June for the Survival Conference. Emily's Brain Tumor is stable from the radiation as of Nov. We pray that everything is still stable in Feb. She is starting to eat better. We love to see you guys again. Emily was talking Bailey the other day looking at pic's.

Take care,

Crystal,Derek and Dalton,
You have been on my mind all week and especially today. I hope you have as good of a Christmas as you possibly can and that Dalton makes you smile. Remember that the tape you unexpectedly found in your camcorder was of a HAPPY Bailey. I think she was trying to let you know that she is in a happy place and that she is doing fine. Finding that tape may have been her Christmas present to you. I'm sure she misses you as much as you miss her. Please take care, try to have a good Christmas and I'll talk to you soon, Sandy

HI.I don't know if you remember me but My daughter's name is Stormy. We spent alot of time at Target and the Hospital around the same time you did.I just wanted to say hi and to let you know that I've never stopped thinking of you .The day you came up and told me that they were sending little Baily home All I could do was hug you. That was a sad day for me also because that was the day I found out that Stormy had relapsed for the third time!I've signed her guestbook from time to time. When Stormy was on the 4th floor I would walk pass her little handprints and just touch them and Quietly say to mysely I know you are watching over Stormy now Baily. She was a beautifull child that is carried in the heart of many wherever they go.God Bless you guys and we will continue to keeo you guys in our prayers.

Hey guys. I got on the caring bridge site, and saw your latest entry. I just wanted you to know that I think of your family often, and we think about Bailey, and how she made us laugh all the time. I moved recently and took the necklace that she made me off my mirror in my room where it hung, and just started to cry when I thought of her. It is so unfair for her to be gone, and my heart is with you all during the holidays.

Hi you guys! Your just as sweet as pumpkin pie~always remembering to write in Bobbys webpage. It was hard to get on a computer while I was w/ him for 2 months, but I tried to keep it updated weekly. You will always mean so much to me and I wish I could visit w/ you all. Crystal, reading your last journal entry just made me cry...knowing Bailey for a short time and then feeling a closeness while putting my hand on her lil handprint at RMH, just sends chills through me. Bobby would always lay in the cream colored wagon with her hand print on it along w/ other childrens, right after his radiation. He would always just stare at the print. I love you guys and I hope we can see each other again soon!

We will heading to Memphis on August 8th. We will be there for a week. Take care and lots of prayers

Just thought you might like to know there are still people around thinking about you and checking on you that have never even sighed your guestbook. You probably don't remember me but my granddaughter is a St. Jude patient and I met y'all and Bailey when we were there. She is Sarah Claire Holder and her Mom is Monica. I don't know the agony of loss you are all going through, I do know the agony and fear of being so scared you are going to lose them. And I do know the love I feel for you and all of the St. Jude patients fighting this beast. I still cry looking at your precious child's pictures. Know that she will always be remembered. May God continue to comfort your hearts as only He can. I pray for you to feel His loving arms around you every day as you struggle with a pain that will never completely go away. There is a song that just popped into my head for some reason {of course I always cry when I hear it} but it says "Don't worry about the children, Jesus has a rocking chair." And I know he is rocking Bailey and so many others and I thank God His love is big enough to handle it. Take care, let God carry you through, and know you will always be loved, thought of, and prayed for. In His Love, Sharyn Hays--mimisharyn@yahoo.com

Dear Kistners,

I looked up your daughter's website after seeing her handprints and name on the wall on the fourth floor at St. Jude.

My son Steven is hospitalized on the fourth floor right now with fever. Steven was diagnosed with PNET in his right frontal lobe on 9-9-03 and just completed treatment at St. Jude, craniospinal radiation and four bone marrow / stem cell transplants.

We are waiting for his counts to recover and followup MRI's and spinal tap, then we go home, God willing.

Your daughter is beautiful, and I am so sorry for your family. It is heartbreaking what our sweet kids go through.

God bless you and your family.

Hello Kistners! Just wanted you to know you are still in our thoughts and prayers. I read this poem and thought you would like it too.

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

Hey guys,
It was so good to finally hear from you. I check Bailey's page daily and look at her pictures and cry daily too. It seems like it was just yesterday Karina was trying to get her to play. We went up to the 4th floor to visit the nurses in January and I saw Bailey's handprints and started crying. Karina asked me what was wrong and I couldn't tell her, I just said that my contacts were bothering me. She looked at the wall and said "Hey, that's Bailey's handprints, I miss her" and I about lost it. I never did tell Karina, especially since she is starting to understand and associate things with herself. I know it has still got to be very hard for all of you. Please know that we are thinking about you and praying for you. If you ever need to talk, I am here for you. When is the day of remembrance at St. Jude? Because we will be back the 21st and 22nd for another check-up and I was really hoping to see you.
Well, take it easy, and remember we are thinking about you, missing you (and Bailey), and loving you.

Hello Kistner Family! Our prayers continue for you all as we feel, like many of us do, our hands are tied wishing we could do more. I know there aren't any words that just "makes it better or alright" but please remember God is there to carry you through. We've all questioned why, why these dear little angels, why cancer and why can't they all get well?? One of these days we will be able to ask God and hopefully, understand. I truly believe that when we are able to ask those questions, it will already be made clear to us. Please know that we are here for you and will always be part of your family - your St Jude family, especially your eternal family. Even though we don't understand, God understands it all and is always there for you. Please give Dalton a hug from the Hampton crew...Our hearts continue to be broken for you. We trust knowing that so many are lifting you in prayer and we love & care for you in someway helps. Keep the faith...Love - your St Jude family - Barney, Trish, Eli & Emma Grace

Dear Kistner Family,
I pray that God gives you the strength to get through this Holiday season. I know it has to be extremely difficult without Bailey here to celebrate it with you. But just remember she is celebrating with Jesus this year on his birthday. That is something more special than any of our celebrations. I know that doesn't make it any easier for you or anyone else who wishes she were here celebrating but it's a somewhat positive way to look at it during this very difficult time.
Please know that we love you and miss you and think of you every day! God bless all of you during this difficult time. I apologize for not talking about Karina, but I know that it is probably too painful for you right now. Just know that she was fine at her check-up in November, and we are due back in Memphis again in January and she will be getting her line out then. We are praying for clean scans again!
We send all of you much, much love!

Well it's been 2 months for me and it still has not gotten any eaiser. Even though we have the comfort of knowing our kids are with Jesus, it does not make the pain of missing them any easier. I think about April all the time and when I went shopping over the weekend I found all this stuff April would love. I'm not sure things will every get easier. Just know that others understand you greif and feel for you too. May you still manage to have a good holiday. We are planning one doing something special in memory of April. I have gifts to give the family from April also. I think that is important. Hope something I said will help a little. I keep you in my thoughts.

Dear Derek, Crystal & Dalton: Just want you to know that you are continually in our prayers and are trusting God is sending His ultimate blanket of comfort & love your way. Unfortunately, we just aren't equipped to have the exact words to say or do the right things to make "everything alright". We pray you find comfort in knowing so very many people love you and care for you. One day He will make all things perfectly clear ... in His perfect forever. We certainly know there will be an adorable angel Bailey waiting for us all. Hold onto His mighty Hand...He's so good to carry us when we can't find the strength to walk. We love you and are praying for you all always! In His Love, your St Jude family - Barney, Trish, Eli & Emma Grace

Crystal and Derek,
I just want you to know that there isn't a day that goes by that I am not thinking about you and praying for you. I am still in shock as I think you are too. I still can't believe our little Bailey is in heaven now. It just doesn't seem real. It is still too painful to accept. I pray that you are all doing well as can possibly be expected during this extremely difficult time in your lives. Please know that I am feeling your pain too, daily. I am really having a hard time accepting this. I still have not told Karina. It would absolutely break her heart and she is starting to associate relapses and death with herself. I don't want to scare her right now....at the same time I hope nobody thinks that I am keeping her in the dark either. She is just too young and understands too much for her age and associates it all with herself. I hope you can forgive me for not telling her but I don't think she could handle knowing she has lost yet another friend.
We love you and miss you and think of you everyday! If you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to ask.
Much, much love.

Hello, you do not know me, my son was at St.Jude this past summer. I have been meaning to write in you journal sooner but didn't know what to say. Now I feel that I should have earlier. Words can not express my deepest sympathy to your family. Know that she is in heaven with our heavenly father and is looking down apon you. She no longer suffers, no longer feels pain, she is truly home.

JESUS, IS HE WITH YOU?

Jesus is he with you?
I wonder every day
I sit and wonder why she's gone
And why she could not stay

Every part of me is empty
I fell I can't go on
But then I look to heaven
I hear this beautiful song

Mommy I am with him
He holds me in his arms
When every I am with him
he keeps me safe and warm

He says you shouldn't worry
I am safe and loved right here
With all the other baby angels
that passed within the years

We have a special place up here
He thought that you should know
Where the Blessed Father takes
your place for now until you show

When I hear this precious little voice
From the heavens above
I know that all the angels
are showering him with love

For everyone that wants to hear
their babies voice so innocent and sweet
Just close your eyes and begin to pray
and embrace them in your sleep.

So he put his arms around you and whispered "Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fading away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.

We are so glad that we were able to meet you and Bailey, although the circumstances are not what I would have wished for. Bailey is definately an Angel, and has now gone to find her place in heaven with Jesus. The best part is that there is no more suffering, and she is at peace. I hope that you know that you all will forever be in our thoughts, prayers and hearts, and if there is ever anything that you need, even to talk you know that we are here. I thank God that you were all able to be together and that you have each other to lean on. May God give you a real sense of His presence and His peace as you go through this time of sorrow. Our hearts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Derek, Crystal and Dalton

I was very saddened to hear the news this afternoon of your loss. The town of Waverly is mourning the loss of Princess Bailey as she deeply touched us all, even those who did not personally know her. Junior, the kids and I will keep you in our thoughts. Just know that she is well and resting in God's hands and she no longer can feel the pain and suffering. The road for you ahead will be a difficult one, but there are plenty of friends to keep you on a clear path.........feel free to call if you need anything

Dear Derek, Crystal, and Dalton,
I wish I knew what words to say to express how I feel. I do know that the little time I was able to spend with Bailey and the rest of you was a blessing. From just the few moments I could tell how much love you all shared which is what Bailey will remember as she looks down on little brother and the rest of you from heaven. God Bless you All, Deanna

"With Hope"

This is not at all how
We thought it was supposed to be
We had so many plans for you
We had so many dreams
And now you are gone away
And left us with the memories of your smile
And nothing we can say
And nothing we can do
Can take away the pain
The pain of losing you, but...
We can cry with hope
We can say goodbye with hope
'Cause we know our goodbye is not the end, oh no
And we can grieve with hope
'Cause we believe with hope
(There's a place by God's grace)
There's a place where we'll see your face again
We'll see your face again..
And never have I known
Anything so hard to understand
And never have I questioned more
The wisdom of God's plan
But through the cloud of tears
I see the Father's smile and say well done
And I imagine you
Where you wanted most to be
Seeing all your dreams come true
'Cause now you're home
And now you're free, and...
We have this hope as an anchor
'Cause we believe that everything
God promised us is true, so...
We wait with hope
We ache with hope
We hold on with hope
We let go with hope
'Cause we believe with hope
(There's a place by God's grace)
There's a place where we'll see your face again
We'll see your face again..

Song- "With Hope" - Steven Curtis Chapman

"When he shall die, take him and cut him into little stars and he shall make the face of heaven so fine that all the world shall be in love with the night."
I've never met your family but I know from reading Bailey's webpage the last few months that she cast a light that will not be extinguished. She's free! Trust that the comfort and sustaining power of a loving God will see you through.
There is no way you will ever know how many lives have been touched, and maybe even changed, by the life of your little girl. Thank you, Lord, that she passed our way. May all those who loved Bailey find perfect peace in You.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you today. We heard the news this afternoon and now know why neither of us could sleep last night and kept checking her site for an update. I e-mailed you just after one am this morning. We are so sorry for your loss. We are still in shock from losing Marissa and know what you are going through, this is so unfair and so unreal. We had all hoped for healing here on earth for our precious little girls. They were both such fighters, so brave and strong. Such loving angels, together now in heaven. I'm sure that Marissa was waiting for her along with Brendle. We are here for you day or night, please never hesitate to call us for anything. Please let us know when the services will be, we want to be there. We love you all. May God hold you tight in his arms. This is so hard. The tears will not stop. We will continue to pray for all of you. Kim, Steve, Angel Marissa, Justin, Alex, Grace and Jade

I had originally planned to visit as many caringbridge sites as possible, and leave some encouraging words, prior to my daughters passing. Unfortunately her passing came sooner than we had expected, but longer than any of her doctors expected.

Another angel takes flight.

My daughter Pam had a brain tumor and was fighting the fight since November 4th, 2002, after the birth of her daughter (Casey Morgan). My youngest daughter, Karen, set up a caringbridge website for Pam. Karen's friends mother shared a prayer with us, that I would like to share with you and Bailey. It's called DON'T QUIT:
Don't Quit -
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, and you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit - Rest if you must, but do not quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a fellow turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out. Don't give up though the pace seems slow - You may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than it seems to a faint and faltering man; Often the struggler has given up when he might have captured the victor's cup. And he learned too late when the night came down, How close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out - The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems afar, So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit, It's when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.(Just call on Jesus).

I would also like to share a saying that was on the card my wife Diane picked out, and we bought for Pam:

If you were a star
That wasn’t expected back
In the universe
For a thousand years,
I’d wait.

If you were the sky
And everyone went inside
When you got sad
And started to rain,
I’d stay.

And if you were a peach
And the world decided to get rid of all peaches,
I’d pick you up,
Put you in my pocket…

AND KEEP YOU…. FOREVER..

Prayers have scientifically been proven to work.

REMEMBER NEVER GIVE UP THE FIGHT. You are in our prayers. GOD bless you all.

Hello Derek, Crystal, Bailey & Dalton,
Just checking in on you and any news from your journal. I know there has to be days that it feels like you can't take one more setback. It is amazing to Patrick and I what you have come through so far. God gives us strength when we need it, so lean hard on him. And hold on tight to each other. We are so proud of you and how you have handled all of this. Bailey has been such a little "trooper". You all have been strong and continued to stay positive. It is hard to imagine how people get through such tragedies without FAITH. We will be calling you again soon. We love you.

Crystal, I want to offer assurance that you and Bailey can take whatever you need to take. Isn't it amazing how that works? You have already "taken" more than the rest of us can imagine going through ourselves. God has brought you this far and He will see you all the way through. There's power when we pray in agreement and I join you in praying for a complete healing. (The sooner, the better, Lord.) Blessings.

Hello. We are friends of Pat and Nita's. Just wanted you to know you and Bailey are in our thoughts and prayers everyday. Our little Tucker was diagnosed with a brain tumor in June. We have gotten a small taste of the agony that comes with watching your child be sick. I know you want someone to make it all go away. God does work miracles and he will give you the strength for each day. Here is a prayer that helped me while we were in the hospital.
God of the darkness and the day.
It is so hard to wait and to trust that you are present. Sit with us in the darkness.
Help us to sleep.
Calm our anxiety and bring us to each new day in hope. Amen.
We are pulling for Bailey. May God be with you.

I was led to your site from Marissa's. Bailey is a beautiful girl! I am sorry you are going through this. I know it is not easy. My daughter Julia was dx on 12/20/02 a day before Marissa with an inoperable brain tumor and became an angel on 09/10/03. So I really can understand the ups and downs. Please know that I will keep you and your family in my prayers and will check on Bailey's site daily. I wish complete healing for Bailey.

Dear Kistner Family,
I go to church with Karen & Brad Bartel, Barb & Jay Johnson, and Wilma Scoville in Wichita. I have been praying for all of you since last November. Karen & Brad are in our Bible study group on Sunday mornings, and we are all praying for a miracle of healing for Bailey, for God's comfort and peace. When I pray for you, I like to picture all of you in Jesus' loving arms. One night last week as I was praying, God reminded me of how much Jesus loves the little children and how He cares for each one. That thought has been with me each time as I think about you and pray for you.

I was looking at another caringbridge site and saw your address. I think maybe we've seen you guys one time since we all finished radiation and moved out of RMH back in February. Things can turn around on us so quickly and I was so sorry to see that you have had complications. I am always in AWE of how God works in our lives. How He places us all together and we lean on each other and we grow from listening and watching each other face uncertain days with such unbelievable FAITH. I remember days walking down that hall at St. Jude that I could literally feel Jesus walking hand in hand beside me (some days He had to drag me!!) Just as you said in your entry, it is all in God's hands, I have told many people that the hardest prayer to pray is for God's will to be done, when you are talking about your baby! When I pray this, I lean on His promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us, He is right there every minute of everyday and loves little Bailey more than you do and He will take care of her and all of you and meet all of your physical, emotional, & spiritual needs. When she has a bad day or just isn't feeling well, just visualize her cradled in Jesus' arms, because that's where He is keeping her right now and some nights when you are going to sleep, you crawl into His lap as well, I promise it'll be a great nights sleep!
Be JOYFUL in HOPE, PATIENT in affliction, & FAITHFUL in PRAYER. ROMANS 12:12
Keep your FAITH FULL and He ramains FAITHFUL!!!
Love & prayers to you all,

Monica & Sarah Claire Holder <mholder@tecinfo.com>

Hi Bailey, Just a note to let you know that you and your family are in my thoughts & prayers. I hope by now you feelsome better and are able to eat something. It's really warm here today, shorts weather, but by Saturday it's only to be about 56 degrees for the high. Jesse has a rodeo at Emporia this week-end, so you know where I'll be. they were at Mound City last week-end and on Sunday he placed 14th out of 47 enteries in the calf roping, so he is now qualified for the high school finals in June of next year. Bailey, you keep getting better so you can be there to see Jesse at the finals. Love & Prayers Imo

Crystal, Derek,& Family,
Hope your week at home is relaxing for you. Hoping and praying a miracle is around the corner for Bailey. We never know what is around that next corner for all of us. Live each day to the fullest. Joshua has had a rough couple of weeks, but maybe is finally is getting an upturn. His counts are .5 today and no temp. for 24 hrs. This is great progress for him. My heart is so full of thoughts for Bailey and Joshua. Some days it's tough to get through. I believe there is a plan for all of us. Our family is praying for yours and all the struggles you are facing.
In Hope,
Mary Beth

The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.
In the heart's depths a peace serene and holy abides, and when pain seems to have its will, or we despair, oh may that peace rise slowly, stronger than agony and we be still.
Little Bailey and family, our prayers are with you daily. We have added you to every prayer list we can find. May God bless you with health and His peace.

Aunt Jo sure enjoyed her visits with Granny and Grandma Roseann in Waverly. We will be thinking of you and praying as you start round 4 this week. Having Aunt Sherie and Uncle Chad with you will be such a help to Mom and Dad! Take care and you will be coming home very soon. We can't wait to see all of you!! Love, Debbie, Eric, Andy & Taylor

Hi everyone, So glad to hear that Bailey is doing good. Sure hope that you enjoy your weekend with Dalton. I am sure that has been hard being away from him. Emily is doing ok. Still on the TPN and Marinol. We tried to cut the steroid back and Couldn't do it. She got sick yesterday.
She is only 1 mg a day. But we can't go lower than that.

Hello - I'm glad to hear that Bailey is doing well. I'm sure you're ALL looking forward to seeing Dalton! Thank you very much for the gifts for Derek. We really appreciate you thinking of him and going out of your way like you did. Not only the gifts, but the bubble wrap!! He and Ashley made a game out of running and jumping on it - they loved it! Typical kids! I'll be in Memphis with Derek 7/26-7/30. I'm hoping you'll be gone by then, but if not, we'll look for you at St. Jude.

Hi Bailey and Family,
I'm one of your cousin Karen's friends who prays for all of you. We are good friends from church. We are such good friends that she convinced me to go to a Mary Kay party Friday night at her daughter, Kristin's, house, where we shaved our legs with Mary Kay products. How's that for an exciting evening of "girl fun?" Karen forwards your news and pictures to me. I especially liked your rodeo pictures. Bailey, when I pray for you, I picture God's angels watching over you and taking care of you. You are so special to God; He loves you so much. Love in Christ, Linda Greer

Hi Bailey, Emily just got home from school, and is sleeping. She only went a couple hours and that was all she could do. Thursday is her last day. She is going to go for a while to tell her friends good bye. She is doing pretty good. She hasn't eaten for 4 weeks now. She is on Marinol. It is suppose to make her hungry and it puts her to sleep. Hello Neighbors- (Distant for the time being)
It lifts my spirits to read how well Miss B is doing. It sounds as though you were able to enjoy your time together last weekend. Just remember that every day brings you closer to coming back home. We are very anxious to see you all. Ethan includes Miss B in his, long and might I add.....drawn out, prayers every single night. It amazes me how he manages to get to bed later every night. But rest assured, Bailey is usually one of his first concerns he turns over to God. We all are praying for you every day and night. Take care of each other and know that everyone is praying and hoping for the very best. God Bless and Take Care of You. The Rice's

So happy to hear that things are finally going well. Just enjoy the next few days. It was beautiful here today. I have had fun. Went to see Dorothy, I coughed a bit while I was there and she wanted to know how long I had smoked. I told her about 10-12 years, I told her then how long ago I quit and she said she remembered that. I guess that made her happy regarding any lung problems. She was so alert and with it today. May not even know who I am when I go again. Bless you all. Give Miss B a hug for auntie. Love you lots.

I just worked one day this week, but actually have some sick leave. Lynda said you got moved into your apartment.
