Monday, September 1, 2008 2:41 PM CDT Surprise! We are still around. I am terrible at updating anymore. I still check in on all our friends we made while being at St. Judes. We are glad to see so many of them doing so well. I only wish that we were still doing routine checkups with Bailey, first of all to know that she is doing o.k., but also to be able to see our friends.
This is the beginning to another rough week for us, Bailey would be celebrating her 11th Birthday on Sept. 2. We can't hardly believe that it has been 5 years since she passed away, and she was only 6 years old. I told Derek the other night, it is so hard to think that in 2 years we would of had a tennager. I have to say that time has not healed much. If anything it is becoming harder, just to think what she would be like now, and all of the things we are missing with her. Dalton is now 8 years old, will be 9 on Nov. 29, he is growing up so fast. Not a day goes by though that we still don't talk about sissy.
We are getting ready for our Bailey Kistner Memorial Team Roping again on Sept.13. We have had a great turnout the past 4 years for it, and hope to this year. We raise money to provide Bible School for our community kids. We are pleased that we have been able to pay for it all the past 2 years. We hope to make it bigger, so that we can also give back to St. Judes. Our family really pitches in and helps us in anyway. We pray for good weather and lots of ropers to show up!
Everything else is going o.k. We are in the process of building a home. We have wanted to do it for a long time and finally took the plunge. We hope to be in it by Christmas. We have been extremely busy between the house and farming, but I guess we don't know any other way.
Bailey~We hope your Birthday in Heaven is awesome, and know that we love you and miss you more and more everyday. Daddy, Mommy and Bubba
