Lauren was diagnosed on February 13, 2004 with medulloblastoma a cancerous brain tumor. She had surgery on February 17, 2004 to remove the tumor. Since then she's had 6 weeks of radiation to her head and spine, and will receive chemotherapy for a year. Lauren has not been able to walk since surgery. She goes to physical theraphy twice a week and is getting stronger and stronger. Journal Monday, June 10, 2013 12:09 AM CDT Hi it's Lauren, I wanted to let everyone know how I am doing. I am 16 years old, and just finished my sophomore year at St. Vincent's Academy. Go Saints! I am soooo excited to begin my summer. Over the summer me, my brother, my mom, and my uncle will be driving to Houston Texas to visit my aunt, my uncle, and my cousins for a week. I will keep y'all updated Read Journal HistoryLinks: |
